Bought this to use with a Nikon Z9 and a Manfrotto tripod head.It works.Could it work better? Sure. But most of that's because I'm squeezing Manfrotto quick-release plates onto the thing. If I had an Arca-Swiss tripod head it would be a lot better. Still not perfect, given the height of the Z9, but again, it's $19 bucks.If you just want a convenient way to mount your camera in Portrait, this will get the job done.If you need to switch back and forth between portrait and landscape while maintaining the exact center of your framing, well, keep looking. And prepare to spend a lot more on a bracket designed specifically for your camera.My biggest legitimate complaint is that the Allen wrenches used to assemble the thing or to adjust the no-slip screws can't be stored in the plate itself. That's probably why the pack came with two of them.

I was able to use this on my canon r6 without any problems I slid it over so I can still use the battery door. I also used blue locktite to secure the side together so it would not come lose.
