Does The Job But Has Some Glitches
I use this for my ceiling light fixture. There was previously a remote operated light and fan combo there. I replace it with just a light fixture but the way it was wired made it so that the light always on, there was no switch to control the light. With this product, I was able to switch the light on and off. There are similar product but I chose this because it was cheaper and the switch looked more modern. It was easy to wire once you figure out the color code (see attached diagram). It was easy to program (hold the button on the receiver and the light should start to blink then push the switch/clicker/remote 3x). The switch was easy to mount (comes with tapes or screws) and the receiver was small enough to fit into the ceiling electric box. Overall, a great purchase.Update: Like a lot of other people had said, it does "stop" working after a while. About every 6-7 months I'll click the switch and nothing happens, it's like it gets disconnected or something and needs to be "reset". To do that, I have to turn the power off to that room from the breaker box, and everything works again. It's not the end of the world, but it is very annoying.

Works as expected
The size is ok, but I found it very tight inside a standard light round junction box with the wires. One needed to be adjusted because when the power went out the remote wouldn’t work. I think this was because the button on the receiver was being pressed in. I rearranged the receiver and the wires and it seems to work now when the power goes off. The range is better than the previous ones I had that needed line of sight. I installed 3, one inside and two outside.

Great solution for an out of reach switch!
Our 1950’s home was remodeled before we bought it with a lot of work done reshaping the kitchen and dining area. Someone didn’t think it through and put the kitchen light switch inside the area where the fridge goes instead of on the other side of the wall. It was not immediately apparent when we looked at and eventually bought the house, because there was no fridge in the space, but once we moved in, bought a fridge, and slid it in, we realized there was no way to operate the light switch. We ended up leaving the switch on, and thankfully the GFI plug was wired with the lights, so to turn the lights off we just tripped the GFI breaker and reset it to turn them back on. Not ideal but functional enough. After 6 years of this, I stumbled upon this solution and it works great. Took a little work to get the fairly bulky receiver and the wires back in the junction box together, but the installation was easy with fairly simple instructions and I am glad to finally be able to use an actual switch to turn my kitchen lights on and off, and to be able to run the dishwasher with the lights off! (Dishwasher’s power was wired to the GFI also)I can’t speak to the early failure that other reviewers have commented on, as I’ve only had it installed for a day, but I will update the review if it fails in the future. But for right now this is a 5/5 solution for my otherwise impossible to reach light switch.

ONLY WORKS 3-4 MONTHS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT & SELLER! I NOTICED OTHERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE!
Hello, long story short: This remote light switch worked flawless for a few weeks. After that it took a few clicks of the switch to turn on/off. Finally (around the 3 month mark) it just completely stopped working (stuck on) and I had to unscrew all my bulbs to get them off. Very frustrated because the dinning room fixture I installed was complicated and time consuming. I messaged the seller to ask for a new switch (no answer). Looks like I will have to uninstall my dining room light fixture to retrieve the receiver. Reading the reviews, this seems to be a common product issue. I would recommend staying away from this seller as well since they cannot return an email about their product issues. Thanks for reading!

Perfect for my application, once I got the wiring figured out.
Got this bad Larry wired up last week and it works wonderfully. Decided on this particular kit because the switch is self powered, the no batteries idea was very appealing. I live in an old house where the two bedrooms only have live wiring directly to the ceiling with no switches. The wireless switch was the simplest and most affordable option rather than trying to run new electrical lines through the old plaster and lathe. The instructions were a little confusing for me, a little vague with some translation errors. That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. I'm no electrician though so I didn't have the knowledge to know exactly what I was doing. The first time I tried to synch it up to the switch, I popped the breaker. I swapped two wires and fired it up again and all was well.

Completely Stopped Working In 3 Months
It was easy to install. However, after installing it in April, 3 months later it did not work. At first, (after the first 2 months) it took a few presses of the button to turn on my LED light fixture. Now, it has COMPLETELY stopped working. I don’t trust this product. Find a manufacturer that is better known who makes a wireless switch. Don’t buy this.

Way convenient
Great device. Works very reliably. Once upon a time I would have been crawling around the attic fishing wire into the wall for a switch to control my ceiling light. But this installed in about fifteen minutes and done.UPDATE: This has, on two occasions over a years time, gotten stuck in the Lights ON condition. To reset it just throw the circuit breaker off for ten seconds and then back on.

Stopped working after two months.
Sometimes I like to ignore the bad reviews and find out for myself. But this is one of those times I should have listened. The switch worked great for the first two months. Then just now it stopped working. It is stuck on and now the led lights in my garage won't go off. I'm going to have to disconnect the lights from the power to get them off.It was good while it lasted.
