Q: Are these waterproof?

The rubber in the soles seem to absorb a bit of water and I leave wet footprints long after other footprints have dried! The soles are thick enough to keep your foot dry walking thru puddles when they are new but as soon as they wear thru in the smallest place water seeps in around your foot, making them useless! The last pair I had lasted 10 months (daily heavy use) til a hole ruined them but they are cheap enough and very comfortable so still worth it for the price compared to other steel toe cap shoes IMO
