WOW!!!!! Have a 2011 GMC ...
WOW!!!!! Have a 2011 GMC Acadia with a thumb drive port. This has just converted my car into being able to play Bluetooth music with NO AUX cable. Been looking for this for quite some time. Even bought 2 other similar units in the hope they would do this same thing. Both failed. This one WORKED!!! I am very excited. :)

Yamaha Receiver is now Bluetoothed!!!
Gave this a shot to use the USB port on a Yamaha AV receiver as a Bluetooth input for my phone.Plugged it in, receiver immediately recognized it as “BT Music” input device. I paired it to my iPhone and the Yamaha receiver began streaming the music from the phone and allowed for remote volume control too. Simple and Awesome!!!!

2010 Tahoe it does play thru the USB port with NO need for the 3.5mm analog audio cable. On my stock system each input has it's own controls so I adjusted the bass, mid and treble levels accordingly and it sounds about the same as FM. It did studder initially but I stopped Pandora from playing and when I started playing music again it was fine. Very minor work around to gain fully cordless bluetooth for only $12.99. The product description clear states they removed the ability to play thru USB yet it works very well for me so I'd say roll the dice for $13 and see if it works for you! Lots of Gm vehicles around 2010-2014 that need this ability for wireless bluetooth and it worked well for me!

Works OK! No Aux cable needed.
Update 5/22/2018:I've gotten used to the audio delay but about half the time the audio sounds very distorted and sped up. I'd pause and play by device which fixes it sometimes. If that doesn't work I have to unplug the device and resync it. You get what you pay for.Original Review:My Aux port in my car is broken and this is a great, cheap alternative to fixing it. I have a USB port in my center console and this works great! I plug this into my USB port and connect my phone to this via Bluetooth and audio works! Only down side is the pretty large delay from phone to speakers but not a deal breaker

Avid music listener, good product but not the best
So I got this yesterday and have been testing it all day.I drive a VW Jetta 07 with stock head unit and speakers and aftermarket auxiliary input with a ground fault isolator in-line.This product works. Auto connect with a little amplification, plug and play good to go.I noticed though that some sound quality is lost over the Bluetooth connection. Specifically the low end frequencies. To test I tried a song by Steve Aoki and a song by Skrillex. Both sounded good using this product but left me wanting more in the bass sections. When I used the aux cable I was met with more low end sounds.I tried using some hip hop songs as well as heavy metal blues and punk. For the most part the biggest difference was the low end still. So I guess if you are a bass head this product might not be for you.

No more plugging up my phone!
For years I used the split audio power cable with my IPhone 4S, loved the setup. Every time I got in my Jeep I plugged it up, started the Pandora app, and was ready to go. Then I upgraded to an IPhone SE. Had to buy a new split cable to support the lighting connector. IOS 10.3 didn’t like that cable. So I bought a “better” split cable, that one simply didn’t work and was returned. I then realized I use my new phone using Bluetooth with my Turtle Beach - i30 Premium Wireless Mobile Headset (fantastic headset BTW) at my desk, and that works exceptional well. So I bought this small inexpensive Bluetooth device, plugged it into my Jeep cigar lighter and the 3.5 audio into the radio…and it sounded terrible. I had the audio volume on the phone too low, turned the phone up all the way and it sounded great! No more plugging in cables every time I get in the Jeep or launching Pandora. As soon as I turn on the ignition the unit pairs with my phone and my phone displays the play button for Pandora waiting on me to decide if I want music to play or not. It’s great.

Replacement unit perfect
This is inexpensive and easy to use/install. But, mine did not work correctly. Upon receipt, I tried it in a 2009 and a 2012 Toyota Prius. In the 2009 Prius, I plugged it into a USB cigarette lighter adapter, and then accessed it via my iPhone6. Bluetooth connection went seamlessly. ...[clip]... I will update this review if I somehow get another unit and find that it works correctly.UPDATE: The seller contacted me and worked quickly to resolve the issue, including sending me a new unit. The new unit works flawlessly.

Terrible sound quality. returned
Love the design and this would be perfect except: The sound quality is horrible with this adapter. Music is very shallow, almost like AM radio vs. the sound from a CD. My direct cable sounds so much better that this is not worth the convenience of bluetooth. I don't understand why these sound so bad. I am better off with an FM adapter and those are horrible too.
