High frequencies opener
This was installed in a PRS SE custom 24-08. The original pickups were muddy and dark. This set turn this guitar in a cut through the mix weapon. Love it.

die besten PAF style Humbucker, die locker extrem hochpreisige Boutique PU schlagen
Ich spiele genau diese PUs in einer Les Paul und einer ES 335 , am lauten Röhrenamp aber low gain ohne Pedals. Hängen wunderbar am Git Volumen Pot, sehr fein anschlagsdynamisch spielbar und so aufklarend. Sehr ausgewogene Frequenzwiedergabe mit etwas mehr Transparenz und etwas mehr luftiger Brilliance , aber niemals harsch oder zirpend. Dadurch auch wunderbar für Jazz einsetzbar, Toneblende leicht geschlossen. Mehr output als bei solchen PUs braucht heute niemand mehr, denn typische Pedals oder Amps bieten gain Ende. Viele Pedals im Tube Screamer Style klingen sogar viel besser, wenn mit einem rel schwachen aber ausgeglichenem Signal ( wie auch mit Fender Tele oder Strat) gefüttert als mit High Output Metal PUs

Lives Up to Expectatione
I put this into a dirt cheap Epi Les Paul Jr. It originally sounded harsh. The volume across the strings seemed uneven despite adjustments. Some may say this is a waste of a good pickup, but I can always take it with me. I also replaced 9's with 11's when I installed it. All things considered, it made my bargain basement guitar sound worlds better. Articulation of chords is more clear. The overdriven signal is sweet and mellow. The volume issue resolved. I enjoy the fact that people are surprised how good a cheap piece of driftwood can sound.
