Well, he loves it. Absolutely loves it. He's been in it ever since it was delivered this morning, hours ago! He is a pretty big Lab, bigger than most, yet there is ample space for him to sprawl out, which is why we bought it. His other bed was one of those oval-shaped plastic beds with inset cushions, which allows no room for sprawling. A few weeks ago he stopped going up stairs, jumping onto 'his' sofa, and our bed. (:D) He's only nine years old but already has arthritis, as most Labs are prone to as they age. This bed, though, gives him the space and support to sleep comfortably, whichever position best suits him. Curled up, sprawled out, upside down! And the back section surrounding the top gives his back support too, plus keeps him warm (stops the draughts!) Day one and one happy pup. Fingers crossed it lasts. So far, so brilliant. Could not be happier. Money well spent.UPDATE It is now 2019, three years after we bought this bed and it is still going strong. The cover is removable and been washed countless times, and looks brand new, still. The bed has not lost its shape, down to the memory foam. It's like brand new, still. Our Lab has slept in it for three years, every day. We cart it round the house for him, upstairs and down, which is easy to do as it's super lightweight. (I can drag it along behind me with one hand.) The fleece underlay can be removed for when it is hotter, and put back on when it's colder. This we do accordingly to the weather, giving our dog extra coolness or warmth when he needs it. Seriously, if you're looking to buy your large dog (or two small dogs who like sharing), this bed will last them their lifetime. I just came on here to find the link for a friend who saw our dog's bed and wanted to purchase one themselves. Thought I'd write an update as long as I was here.

I was a bit dubious about spending £80 on a dog bed, but it was worth it. The bed arrived in two parts, the outercover and supports and the memory foam in a vacumn packed roll. Once cut open, the foam expanded like fury to a lovely firm but soft depth of approx 5 inches. Once inserted into the cover, which zips up all the way around, it makes a very comfortable supportive bed for my 12 year old greyhound/saluki lurcher. The fleecy top is velcroed on and along with the brown cover can be machine washed. Blake loves it. A really good buy, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This bed is perfect for my German Shepherd. He loves it, and I've received excellent Customer Service from this Company. Would highly recommend.

I bought this for my 3 collies. 2 of them 9yrs old. Hoping this will help them stay comfortable into ther old age. It's a good quality sturdy bed with good support. The only thing that lets it down is the cover , although the sides & bottom fits snug the area the dogs lay on is not quite so . So when they have a mad moment of scratching the bed before laying down its slightly torn and loosened the cover. Other than that it's perfect for them.

He just loves it! He is a bit spoilt and has another bed to choose from but this ne seems to be his favourite. The memory foam is excellent, he can stretch iout quite comfortably on it as he is a big dog with a touch of arthritis in his back legs, and the base cover is removable for washing.(we haven't done this yet as we have put a thin blanket on top to keep it clean since it is cream).

Best dog bed I have ever bought. My old Labrador loves it and she can rest her head on the arms. Total luxury. There is a removable, washable, velcro sheepskin topper for real convenience and ease. Really high quality product. I have got through so many dog beds over the years but this one is made with real common sense and quality.

Best bed ever bought dogs love it Had two years and still in good condition.easy to wash the cover .have now ordered another so one in each room .usually dog beds go flat after a while but the mattress is still as thick and comfortable
