Works as well as the big names.
This is not a name I recognised but it works every bit as well as our Casio scientific calculator and the only difference we can tell is the price. This is a pretty good, decent value Scientific calculator, with all of the standard calculator scientific functionality you’d expect, with a fairly standard layout. As you'll be able to see from the photograph, the keyboard layout is identical to the original, so if you're used to the old one, you'll be right at home with this one.Lots of features, you’ll need to check that it has what you need, my son is at University doing Electrical and Electronic engineering and is plowing through calculus, he says it does cover everything he needsWith an included sliding cover, I guess it would protect the calculator in a child's school bag so that could justify the design. The calculator display is good and clear, and there is a pretty good (tiny print as usual) instruction leaflet. So far, very good and I am pleased with my purchase. I also thought it was extremely good value for money. This is a simpler scientific calculator than most and I can recommend it to you. Thanks!

The calculator, that does not quite add up.
I bought this calculator, to help me brush up on my trigonometry, prior to purchasing this calculator, I have always used a Sharp, or Casio branded scientific calculators. The price of this calculator, attracted me to it, the brand "Weckew", I've never heard of them, so doing some "post purchase research", I've discovered that they seem to make kitchen timers, digital clocks, and of course scientific calculators (not sure how much of this is just branding, or if it is manufactured "in-house", but whatever the case, it' is "tat", that you would associate with it being sold, in some cold and wet market stall. The Calculator: it feels cheap, when handled, and the case cover has manufacturing imperfections (not associated with major brands, see picture). The instructions are basic, and unhelpful. The calculator seems to have its own peculiar ways initiating various functions. One of the quirks is that, you have to press the "shift" key, before you can turn it off, that's a novelty to me.The battery replacement procedure seems overly complex, you have to remove 6 small screws (see pictures, will require precision screwdriver "crosshead" or JIS standard screwdrivers to remove them, most people won't have these lying around. To summarise, you may be pleased with it (and yourself), if you bought it for someone else, but as an end user, the experience is very much lackluster. My calculator looks like it was returned by someone else (and who could blame them). To change the battery (it takes an AG10 1,5V battery), I'd have to buy a new set of precision screwdrivers, and add to that, the cost of a new battery, it would render this calculator economically unviable, to have the battery replaced. It will be cheaper just to get another calculator from Poundland (which is what this calculator is actually worth). This calculator works as intended, and will suffice for most school/office/home calculations, but once the battery expires, it's heading for the bottom draw, and staying there, and it won't be missed!!Just to follow-up from my original review, I have seen the same calculator, under the Casio brand, model number: "Casio FX-82MS" Calculator, ("82MS" appears on the top right hand side of this calculator as well), but that "Casio FX-82MS Calculator" (see picture), is selling for £36.00 +, so on hindsight, this Weckew calculator at around £7.00, seems likes great bargain. As I have stated, this calculator will suffice, even though it has issues, so it looks like all calculators are going generic, "cheap and cheerful", and certainly not the same quality as they were, back in the 80s, and 90s.....shame.

Simple light weight got all the function worth for money
Calculator was bought for my son as he started with Secondary school this year. It's of a decent size with big enough buttons as well as all the instructions what button is for what, so it's easy to use. All the fubctions are there no doubt.it can be used for exam.It comes at the good price compared to what is being offered in the shops as well as quality wise.I'd like to point out that maybe reading the instructions about at least its basics would be recommended, and also, to turn off the calculator please use the Shift key in the top left.Simple, sturdy, lightweight and with all the functions!I recommend this product!

Perfect for GCSE maths
I purchased this for my son who was doing his maths GCSE. The calculator is great quality and easy to use. The trig and sans are accurate. The cover which slides over the top make it look smart. Large numbers and screen making it very readable. It got him thought his revision and exams, good battery.
