Best Thread Ever! And So Much!!!
I usually never bother to write reviews but I had to take some time on this one. First, I doubt I will ever have to buy thread again, there is so much! It's really surprisingly great quality, even better than some name brands I have. It slides easy and I've yet to break it even with hard tugging. The colors, oh the colors are amazing! Such a variety, from dark's to bold's to pastels. The pigments of the colors are wonderful. They come on plastic spools (better than paper) and it helps to shave off the excess on top and put in a little notch at the top and bottom of the spool to hold the thread when you are done. I'm actually tempted to buy another listing of this because it would literally be a lifetime supply and I wouldn't ever want to run out.

Great value thread
Bought these to use with the sewing machine. I’m a new sewer and needed colors. Great buy. Little thicker then Coats thread but should be fine. Just be warned the green spools are really cheap and many broken or cracked. My re-soon them to other spools when I use them. Otherwise great buy.

Good quality thread for the price.
Love this thread. Did not break or fray in my machine a brother 425se. Worked great. The 250 yard rolls typically complete one project but I had no issues and the colors are great. Didn't have to go to the sewing store to match my project, had the thread right there!

It’s ok but not great. Many colors.
There are tons of colors to choose from my somehow I still can’t find what I need. But for the cost the number of colors you get is pretty good. I took one star off because I agree with other reviewers that the thread itself isn’t like the other ones you buy. It’s way thicker and the quality is almost yarn-like. I’m totally not a fan of it. I don’t even want to use it most of the time. So I feel like it’s a waste of money for me. If I had seen the thread beforehand I wouldn’t have purchased it. Also the ends of the spool is taped and when you try to take the tape off the thread around the end of the spool comes off with the tape which is super annoying and it’s hard to put them back on the spool.

Good!
They are good, I just didn't like the spools they came on. I had to put them on bobbings before using on the sewing machine bc they snagged and tore. I did read the reviews and knew that would be an issues.

The spool has "teeth", making it unusable with machines after a while
The color variety is great! Very useful for doing alterations for any piece of clothing. The thread is fuzzy and not super strong. One of my spools (or at least one, I havent used all of them) had multiple breaks in the thread before I even took off the small piece of tape (tape shown on my picture of the tan thread). The biggest gripe I have is the spool itself. While it looks like it's just a green tube, there are actually green plastic pieces sticking up to help hold the thread (see the first two pictures I added with the real thread). This means that once you use some thread, IT CAN'T BE USED WITH A SEWING MACHINE! The thread catches and your machine stops/makes terrifying noises. This means that if you want to use the thread on a machine past the point of the green point bits sticking out, you need to hand wind it onto a different spool or on a bobbin. Yep, also can't wind bobbins when these pieces are sticking out. That is why I give a low rating. Its unusable for machine sewing when most of the thread is still left on the spool. Also, the thread comes unwound from the spool for most of the colors (shown in my picture of the tan thread, I haven't even taken the tape off yet) which makes for uneven tension.I did use it for embroidery, which worked well because it is such a fluffy thread. Having tons of colors made me save on buying embroidery floss, so that's a plus.

Quality
Love, love, love this. My only issue is, there is only one spool of black. Other than that, the quality is good, the assortment of colors are awesome and it is worth the money.

"...and Sewing Machine Use". No, not really.
The thread is kind of thicker than I had expected, a lot of fuzz on it. Colors are great and it's a huge variety of them for a great price, but for machine embroidery, forgetaboutit... The spools that the thread is on are garbage. Who's bright idea was it to use spools with sharp edges that will inevitably snag the thread and keep it from unspooling smoothly? Look at the attached photos... Each one of those fins or whatever they are catches the thread as you get low enough for them to become exposed. It prevents unspooling and leads to broken threads on the machine (I'm using a Brother SE400) and broken needles from the tension. I've broken 5 needles on one small embroidery job because the thread kept getting hung up on the spool. I guess for hand embroidery or cross stitching, these would be fine, but forget about using them on a sewing machine.
