This is a nice unit, with some surprises. It is wall-mountable, but works well in many positions and does not mind movement. I had it in the car for a month (new car with no CD player). No cover, so you have to not drop things on it. It is not portable, because it has no battery. USB power works from a computer or the car USB, or the plug-in the adapter. The cord from the bottom (if upright) operates a real mechanical-electrical pull-switch, hard to find these days. If switched off, remote power button does nothing. If switched on, you can use remote or control it from the power supply, the wall outlet or the car USB, so it starts with ignition. You don’t have to push anything else (so I could play it from inside a plastic tub in my van). When powered up that way the CD starts over, and if no CD the radio will play. I like all that. The sound is good enough for a small living area, though you could use line-out to go to another amplifier. USB input works as expected, but there is no display on this unit, so browsing is not so easy. Tuning the radio with no display is difficult. The bluetooth works well, but remember that the CD player is a bluetooth speaker itself; it will play your phone; it does not send to a bluetooth speaker. I have lent it to a friend and don’t remember how well the player and remote operate the phone. But it was easy to connect and worked well with the phone. The remote worked from all over the living area. Both unit and remote are white with white buttons, better than black, but why not black on white so an old guy can see more?

I bought this to use in my toddler's room, so that we could play her soft music while she went to sleep. There are two major problems.... First, There doesn't seem to be any way to prevent the CD from repeating all night long. We have to go in there and manually stop the CD before we go to bed at night, otherwise it will play all night long. There is a repeat button on the remote, but it does not seem to rectify the problem. Second, there is an audible ticking sound That the CD player makes every time the disc makes a rotation. I find it extremely irritating, to the point where I don't even want to listen to anything. Also, the lowest volume setting is way too loud. I would like to be able to play the music very quiet in the evening, but the quietest setting is what I would consider to be a normal listening volume For me, if I were sitting at my desk doing work or something like that. Definitely not appropriate for playing in situations where soft music is needed

This CD player works and has decent sound, but it's very cheap plastic. The stand is unstable and, oddly, you have to pull a cord (that was not shown on the website photo) to cause the CD to begin playing. I bought it as a gift for an elderly person with limited space (thinking it would be convenient to hang the player on the wall). Given the construction and sound quality, the player is significantly overpriced in my opinion.

I thought the unit was pretty unique in design. Plays good but but I found it a little low on volume adjustment...in other words it does not play very loud but is adequate. This may be a blessing if your buying it for a teenager?

To be entirely honest, sound quality (among other aspects of listening to music) don't really matter to me much. I don't tend to notice these things. Mostly, I bought this for looks - and it looks really cute in my room. Of course, if it didn't work, I wouldn't want it. It does what it's supposed to. My CD's play, the remote works, and the sound is good enough for me. I do wish there was something to cover the CD when it's playing, but I'm not that concerned. I think the issues listed in other reviews are valid, but those things don't really bother me much. I'm very happy with my purchase. It also emits a soft glow when it's being used which I think is also really cute.

Interesting device, but very delicate. Plays CDs well. And FM is fine if you can get it to localize the station that you want, otherwise it is not useful.Not sure this will do with the set-up I want.

This purchase was an extremely bad idea from the get go, thought it would be a good unit to supplement my other CD players in my other rooms but it just will not work no matter what I do, right out of the box it played one time them - nothing, just sets there and spins trying to seek the CD over and over. One would be ok it they had to do that a few times before waiting to enjoy their fleeting few moments in their day of music time to relax but, this is just non acceptable here I tried 10 different NEW CD's and its the same story time and again. Save your money on this one folks, DON'T BUY IT !

only thing I don't like is that the cd plays over and over there is no automatic cut off at the end of the cd like other players
