PWM Controller, Briidea DC 12-48V 35A Waterproof Motor Speed Controller with Forward-Brake-Reverse Switch, Adjustable Potentiometer and LED Display, Easy Assembly, Perfect for Trolling Boat Motor

I purchased one and was disappointed due to the missing screws for the power wire attachments. I returned that one and ordered another. It arrived with all of the screws so I installed it in our 12' fiberglass fishing boat. I have two Minkota trolling motors and have always struggled to keep the speed I want for trolling. We fish for trout in the high mountain lakes in California where the ideal speed for deep water is just above 2 mph. To achieve that speed, one is constantly changing the 5 speed handle. With this speed controller, it is very easy to keep the appropriate speed. I only need to adjust the controller to compensate for the wind direction and speed.This is an awesome product!

Pros: Easy Install, nice box. Continued to work in reverse.Installed on 3 month old Newport Vessel 55lb Thrust.Cons: Stopped working in Forward.

Does what it says it will do. I have only tested it with my kayak mounted minn kota endura 30 motor, and for that it is sized perfectly. Mfg. states max 60A draw and 35A continious so I have plenty of headroom. Since it's a sealed box, heat could be an issue down the road with higher draw motors. I looked at building my own, but I couldn't have sourced all of the components required for what I paid for this. My time is also valuable.. at least that's the story I tell my boss.

The motor speed lcd did not work upon arrival. Sure wish I could find where to get that part as it just plugs in .

The container is great. Well built.

I bought this to setup my kayak to run with a trolling motor. The good part is that it works.The bad part is mine came missing a necessary screw for connecting the wires. In addition to that, the connections made by the company weren't actually making contact either.With me wanting this to be plug and play, I am disappointed with the quality control. And the company selling this at a premium compared to other options out there, it should be high quality.

The numbers read out half cut, I have to guess the rpm rotation. Otherwise it works.

am running my trolling motor on my kayak using this PWM controller. Works great easy to hook up.one help would be an actual wiring diagram in the box
