Honestly really surprised
I'm honestly blown away by this product. Most dark spot products just don't work. I turned to hydroquinone a couple months ago and although it was working it was really irritating and drying and you could only use it 3 months at a time. I've only used this product for a little over 2 weeks and have already seen a marked improvement in my sun and age spots, so much so I'm probably just gonna use this and not go back to hydroquinone. Definitely worth it to me.

Just didn’t work
I am a long-time DHC user and love their products, so I really wanted to like this. But it just didn’t do anything to lighten my age spots at all. I used it daily for the entire tube (which took several months), and literally no change.

Full of silicone, old formula and didn't do much.
DHC is a big name in Asian beauty yet I believe they stay in their old time glory forever. I won't review this product as I have reviewed as other products (I generally review ingredient, texture and effectiveness category.) I don't think it's worth to mention about the ingredients since it's just water and silicone. I know silicon oils can be beneficial for some and it gives superb texture on the skincare product, but this is a little too extreme. Practically, half of the ingredients are silicones and PEG-silicone, and the only active ingredient is niacinamide. There is NO WAY that this product will provide anything therapeutic for Age and Sun spot, since the concentration of niacinamide is very low. If you have extremely dry skin and have no problem with PEG and silicones, probably you can try it out but literally you have trillions of niacinamide serum available in Amazon in $10~20 price range. I think texture is good at least, it glides very well and gives the feeling of hydration, also works nice under the makeup. I'd use this as a makeup primer rather than brightening serum. I don't recommend this product especially when you have acne prone skin. I do have moderately dry skin and generally had no problem with dimethicone but this product gave me white head breakout around my chin area.
