Hours of quiet digging…
Put down some newspaper lay these out and let your little one go crazy. Some of the stones are small - marble sized so this may not good for kids with a habit of popping things into their noses or mouths. AND the dust will color their hands/fingers like chalk - I have cream colored everything so navigating my little guy to the bathroom to wash his hands was a task but worth it for the amount of time this kept him engaged and busy. He loved learning about each of the gem/crystals.

Perfect gift
My son loves digging these things up. Doesn’t matter What’s inside. Didn’t keep him busy for long (he’s 9) but he enjoyed it while it lasted Abe’s nope he has all of these cool stones.

Fun For Little Archaeologists
My granddaughter loved this set! She is 5 and loves excavating. The gems were such a bonus for her. She, also, enjoyed trying to match the gems to their pictures. Some of the stones did not look much like the picture, but that is what you get because no two stones are the same. Looking to buy her another set!

Different.
Got this for my kid and they are like blocks of chalk. She has had some that were easy to do but these took forever to break. The plastic tools that come with them didnt quite do the job.. needless to say we had a 11 yr old beating them with a hammer , but she loved the stones once she got to them!

My kids love these!
My kids love dig it’s! The small ones at the store are $6 for one block, but this pack for $20 lasts them a while! Definitely a great deal and tons of fun!

Great parent and 3.5 year old activity
3.5 year old worked closely with parent, high quality. Use spray bottle with water or soak a little if your little one has trouble getting inside these. Gems were nicely polished and was fun for both of us!

We found all of the stones. But no surprise fossil like advertised on the box.
