Handcrafted in in the mid 1900's by Turkmen Tribal Jewelry Artisans with stylized etched patterns and traces of goldwash (gilding). This unique cuff bracelet is called a Bilezik, often in pairs by Turkmen Tekke Tribal women. Eye-shaped maroon glass stone in raised bezels were believed to invigorate and strengthen the blood while protecting the wearer against the evil eye.
