Assembly IS ACTUALLY a piece of cake. There is one screw that is kind of “screwy” because it’s blocked by the frame bolt. But you can still get it in and in two rotations you’re in and it’s good to tighten.Don’t be dismayed by the poor reviews. These are excellent quality trays for the price. Only $25 a tray? And you get a spectacular finish. My finish is so clean and neat looking; I love it.I don’t ever fold mine, so I can’t comment on that.Durability gets a 10/10. They are extremely stable and once assembled, they are solid as a rock.The frames hold very well. They aren’t “heavy-heavy” so it’s not something you have to lug around. All in all I fully suggest these. At this price point you won’t find anything better design wise, and they’re the same as any other.You also don’t need to buy new hex nuts as one review mentioned. They are locking, so I’m assuming the reviewer simply stopped screwing them in.My only complaint - which isn’t even a complaint - is that mine didn’t come with a tool. It was in the manual that it would be included but mine was missing. Anyways, all you need to assemble is a small Phillips and you’re set. I did have a tool for the locking nuts so I had half of the tool set.They’re great! Aesthetically pleasing and WELL SIZED. You have room for many things to organize.Great looking furniture additions!

Very easy to assemble, they look great also very durable.

I probably should have read the description better, since I had no idea this thing required assembly. I’m old, so handling all the tiny screws, nuts, brackets and tools was difficult, time-consuming and painful. It took about half an hour for me to get everything unpacked, sorted out and complete assembly of one of the units. I’ll leave the second one for another day. On the plus side, extra screws and nuts were included. The stand looks nice enough, and will serve my purpose nicely. I would recommend this for any place that needs a flat surface, but doesn’t need to have a lot of visibility as it is very basic. Overall, I’m satisfied with this stand.

Tables are sturdy and large enough for eating off of. They go great with my decor. Over all exactly what was described. Great price!

These went together easily although I’d recommend using a real Phillips screwdriver. Came with a few extra nuts and bolts which I thought was nice.It is a bit hard to fold the tables up as the plastic clips are very tight. The instructions recommend not tightening the bolts and nuts too tight as that makes them even harder to fold.I’m quite satisfied with these. Only suggestion I’d make is to not have the cross brace at the front by your feet. It is easy to shake the tables if your foot hits them.

Tables are very nice. They are a good height, weight and sturdy. However, once they are snapped in place for use it is impossible to fold them up. The leg snaps too hard into the bracket under the table. Trying to pull the leg out of the bracket is to difficult. They will have to stay open as I'm unable to fold them..

I just wanted two trays nothing big but sturdy to eat from if I want to watch tv. These went together quick and are exactly what I needed. Now unfolding them is gonna take some muscle. I think in time the clips that hold the legs to the top will become lose. Right now after assembly it’s tough. Great little tables wasn’t disappointed. Next step unfold them!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Total garbage. Came with no instructions and no hardware. Contacted the seller and they asked for photos and a bunch of questions. Sent everything they requested and the ghosted me. Absolutely no response
