PetzLife Salmon Oral Care Gel, 1 oz

My dog groomer recommended this. I've used it for years and it's kept my jack russel from needing her teeth cleaned for over 7 years. We got busy over the last few years and didn't use it and when she needed surgery we had to get her teeth cleaned. It really does make a difference. It is easy to use. This is a dog whom several vets want to drug or knock her out just to give her an exam. The others need her muzzled and one of us holding her down. When I say easy to use I mean it. One person can just open her mouth put the recommended amount on her tongue smear a couple of teeth and let go. She likes the salmon flavor best. I just got a cat and he's tolerating it too.

Since the website fails to list the ingredients, grain alcohol is the 2nd one listed. We used this as it recommends twice a day for about 2 months and we did not see a difference in our dogs tartar. Our dog has a pretty decent piece of tartar on a tooth and it has not changed at all. I rated it 3 starts because maybe if I would've bought another bottle and kept going we would've seen improvement, but I got tired of brushing the dogs teeth twice a day.

This product works well imo. I brush my dogs teeth but in between brushing this easy to use product seems to assist with clean teeth. Follow directions.
