These retro sewing box scissors are are fine. Out of the pack they are sharp to the tip and are well-proportioned. They look quite cute but may need to be aged before the look like Grandma owned them. They are not large, and the eyes may be to small for many mens' fingers.I will take away 1/2 a star for a less-than-precision screw, but it should have no impact. They should be easy to adjust and sharpen for many years.While they are made in Pakistan, Taylors give a lifetime guarantee. I recently returned an inexpensive pocket knife to Taylors and they fully re-built it for me - impressive.
