Q: Hi! Are these fondue forks color coded?

Tracy, no these forks are not colour or number coded.

Q: does this come with everything you need?

The fondue burner comes empty. You need to provide the fire gel.

Q: Does the burner require using the gel fuel cartridges or will just gel fuel do the job? Also will sterno fire starter work as the gel fuel?

It actually says not to use the gel fuel cartridges in the burner just to use the gel fuel

Q: How do you clean fondue pot?

With cheese fondue, I just soak the pot and then wash it with dish washing liquid and a sponge. Never had any issues. My pot still look as good as new. I own two of these pots.
