this is everything it claims to be. very easy to use. I get frequent fevers with no known cause and am trying to find the pattern of them and this is helpful. I can see using this with young kids as well or with anyone who is having fevers for any reason really though maybe expensive for some uses since they are disposable.

I recently purchased the Masimo Radius, and after spending some time with it, I feel compelled to share my experience for the benefit of others considering this product. Unfortunately, my time with the device was far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend it.Accuracy IssuesOne of the primary reasons for purchasing the Masimo Radius was its advertised accuracy. However, I found this to be highly misleading. In my experience, the temperature readings were consistently off by a significant margin, ranging from 2 to 5 degrees. This level of inaccuracy made it impossible to trust the device for any meaningful purpose.Connectivity ProblemsAnother major issue I encountered was the device's severe connectivity problems. I struggled to maintain a stable connection between the Masimo Radius and my smartphone, which proved to be quite frustrating. The constant disconnections made it difficult to utilize the device to its full potential or to trust any of the readings it provided.Short LifespanTo add to my disappointment, the Masimo Radius ceased to function properly after just a few hours of use. It suddenly stopped reading temperature altogether, rendering it entirely useless. This was the final straw for me, as the device's short lifespan made it feel like a complete waste of money.In conclusion, my experience with the Masimo Radius was highly disappointing. The inaccurate readings, connectivity issues, and short lifespan made it impossible for me to recommend this device to anyone. I encourage potential buyers to look for alternative products that provide more reliable and accurate results.

This product is great it has been a huge help w my grandson who has epilepsy and does not regulate his body temperature - the only thing is the sensors are not available all the time for re order so if you purchase be sure to grab extra sensors

What a fabulous idea - and it partially delivers. We're well familiar with Masimo from our daughter's pulse oximeter machines, which generally work well. She can spike a high fever very quickly due to her medical complications. We thought this wearable thermometer would be a great way to keep track of her temperature without waking her up and bothering her when she is sick. I love that the app keeps all the data and gives several different ways to review how she is doing. We compared her readings to our home thermometer many times and it stayed within a close range.Only a couple of problems. The adhesive only lasted a day, so we had to tape the device to her skin after that. Even when the adhesive was sticking well the first day, there were many brief moments when the device dropped out and didn't give a reading. When we set the app to tell us when it wasn't reading, it drove us crazy with notifications, but turning that off meant we didn't notice if the device fell off or wasn't reading for a period of time. Might be helpful to have an option to be notified if it stops reading for five minutes, rather than every little glitch. Finally, other reviewers commented on the waste of having to throw it out after eight days, but some said the battery could be replaced with a CR2032. We will definitely try that as they are too expensive for single use. I would be willing to pay more for the same device with an easily replaceable battery and replaceable adhesives that would last several days. It's almost there and we will keep our eyes out for updates!

I’ve bought these several times and I love how they keep track of your body temp. Very useful.

Accuracy wasn’t great until I placed it under my sons arm. After we stayed in a pretty close range. But then within the hour it stopped updating. I opened a new sensor before bed and it did the same thing except this time only updated for about 30 minutes then stopped giving updates and there’s no way to refresh it in the app. Waste of money.

Convenient. Has to be fairly close to phone to read, sometimes wouldn't read when phone was close. Mostly worked great. Probes stick longer than stated. Removed due to irritation and didn't expect it to stick again but it did, twice!

Cannot comment on accuracy but the device works as described, battery last 8 days and the app exports a simple report listing the readings every minute.I do feel the device is very wasteful not having an easily replaceable/chargeable battery. I did find after tearing it open you can replace the battery (it's a regular CR2032 cell battery).Also find it wasteful that the device cannon easily be re-placed on the skin. The adhesive used is meant to stay on a week, in my application I only wanted to use the device at night so I used tape to re-apply the device as needed.If there's an update to the device I would like to see a means of turning off/on and easier battery replacement even if this is at a higher cost.
