NewerTech NuCube Vertical Stand for All 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and Current Mac Mini

FIRST, this stand is compatible with the 2018 new Mac Mini. However, the stand front has an opening for the old version's DVD, which is not needed for the 2018 version. The 2018 version does not include a DVD drive.SECOND, a 2018 Mac Mini can be slid into this stand, which is rather beautiful. The major problem I had is that my 2018 Mac Mini can slide out of this stand very easily. When I tried to add a USB hub, I raise the stand and my 2018 Mac Mini went out of this stand hitting my Thunderbolt Display and chipping the screen of my display and my 2018 Mac Mini. This is a very major design flaw. The designers should have added a mechanism so that a Mac Mini will not slide out of the stand. This is the reason that I give this stand a 3-star review.Some products designed in China are very creative. However, I do think that these products normally have something missing making it not perfect and worth of 5-star.If you like this stand, make sure you will find someway to block your precious 2018 Mac Mini will not slide out of this stand. Duck tape is perhaps not a good idea because it could ruin the looking of the stand.

Very nice piece but it is expensive for what the product is, the shipping is expensive as well. Very well crafted piece
