it is a bluetooth 5.0 BLE module , and Bluetooth 5.0 BLE is compatiable with Bluetooth 4.0 BLE, but it is not compatible with Bluetooth 2.0 .

Q: Is this compatible with elegoo uno r3 board?

I've used it with another board containing the 328 chipset. It also works with 3v-6v so it should work fine with your board.

Q: Can this be setup for 2 slaves and 1 master?

This product currently only supports one master and one slave.

Q: Why does hm-19 not respond from a serial terminal when it does respond using dsd tech bluetooth tools? the uart settings are the same in both cases.
