I got this for a gift and I am sure they will love it - looks very good

The best book to start with if you are trying to design a garden for a small space. Really good explanations on how to analyse the space you have and make the most of it, as well a good plant recommendations and lists of suppliers.

Fantastic book with some great insight into the challenges associated with small spaces and how to subsequently maximise greenery. This is a book which is 2/3 practical with "brief" step by step for each little project. I've immediately taken three ideas from the book and implemented them over about 4 days (green roof, large planter with turfed top and hanging chains for climbers) There is definitely something for every garden in this book and would recommend it. I've found it more fruitful then the endless hours spent looking at images on the internet (although I did see the tweet from Tony Woods saying this new book was out)The are plenty of decently shot photos' of the various projects but its clear some are slightly photo-shopped (strange shadows, weird angles) This doesn't detract from the very usable content.I'll add some photos soon.

I accidentally ordered an American library book when I could have ordered from the UK. Was concerned there might be import charges but there were none. Book in great condition and arrived relatively quickly and well packed. I wanted simple ideas and instructions for a roof garden for my tiny shed, but there are other great ideas in here too.

Great book. I've read some gardening books in my time and many have the odd bit that is of interest but with a lot of other material that may not be of interest. For anyone with anynsize garden, you will find something innovative and interesting in this book. Some good ideas. I refer to it a lot for ideas and inspiration.
