This Mini Med Kit seems to be good quality and very well made. It is a perfect size for a small pocket individual first aid kit. If your familiar with it, this kit fits the bottle pouches of the LAPoliceGear Bail Out Bag perfectly, like it was made specifically for it. The velcro keepers on the Bail Out Bag even slips through this Mini Med Kit's loop to keep it locked into place with no worries of it falling out. I can see this Mini Med Kit fitting nicely in a large variety of bags making it easy to access commonly used first aid items quickly.I did have a few issues however. In an effort to help consumers as well as the manufacturer I always try to provide honest and constructive opinions. This can be both positive and negative feedback about products I review.One issue was that even though all the stitching seems nicely done overall, there was a few threads that were not cut off during the manufacturing process. I had to cut them to a shorter length with scissors and then used a lighter to finish securing them properly to prevent them from unraveling or causing other issues later, not a huge issue.Lastly, the items description as well as its Amazon picture clearly shows YKK zippers yet the unit I received is using different zippers than pictured. I do not feel this is intentionally misleading or anything like that, just the opposite, I trust Helikon-Tex. Its just that with counterfeit items on the rise it can be hard these days to know for sure that your getting a genuine authentic product or not. To some it may not be a big issue but I specifically look for YKK zippers on gear and clothing I purchase because I trust the brand. I know what YKK does to assure a quality product. A lot of companies try to skimp on things such as the zippers to cut costs. When I see a product using YKK zippers it shows me the manufacturer likely cares about quality and are willing to pay a few cents more to assure their customers are getting a quality product. It also shows that the company is likely NOT going to cut corners or skimp on other materials. So call me what you want, I'm the one that has to live with the gear I purchase. I'm also willing to pay more for a quality product and will be loyal to companies that provide such products.I hope this helps.Thank you HELIKON-TEX

I was struggling to find a compact, molle compatible, pouch for my EDC bag - until now. This pouch is the perfect size for what I call a level 0 IFAK (a mix of heavy bleeding stoppage and a boo-boo kit). The dimensions are perfect to attach to the sides of bags, as I have mine. It features two main zippered compartments on the inside to keep everything in place. I was very pleased to see the inside zippers are also ykk. The exterior fabric seems durable enough for my use, but time will tell. Craftsmanship seems to be spot on.What I was able to fit without too much struggle:First zippered compartment (heavy bleeding control) :Quikclot 3x24 gauze (2)5x9 heavy blood soak gauze pad (1)2x3 non-stick gauze pads (2)Nitrile exam gloves (1 pair)Antiseptic towelet (1)Other zippered compartment:Bandaids - various (9)Triple antibiotic ointment packs (2)Burn cream packs (2)Hydrocortisone packs (2)Sting relief swab (1)Antiseptic towelets (2)Medication - variousAs you can see, at this size it fits a fair amount. It's the perfect size for just a boo-boo kit. However, it can easily be extended into a boo-boo (+) kit that has bleeding control capabilities.

It is a little pricey but it is a great little bag overall. I have two of these now.

Well made with good stitching and materials. Higher quality than you would expect for the price. Small size makes a good Boo-Boo kit or you can shop around for "Mini-IFAK" items and experiment a little with packing it just right. Don't expect the bigger IFAK items to fit properly. You might have to make some compromises. I will try to post some pictures with items so you can get a idea of the size compared to other items.

Another well made item from Helikon-Tex. No loose threads or looped stitching to be found, everything is finished and tight. It features two mesh inner pockets with zippers and a loop on the bottom of the pouch. It's for basic items while hiking or camping to get you or kids through minor injuries. Plenty of room to hold your anti-whatever creams and basic FA items like band-aids, gauze pads, tape, you get the idea. The bottom loop can be used to D-ring a roll of tape if it doesn't fit inside or any other item that will accept on a single loop.All in all, great buy.

Maybe I should of read the fine print “doesn’t come with contents”. Why sell it empty?

Clever version of the webbing. I've never seen that double loop at the end rather than a snap or velcro. It works well. Fits perfectly for my needs. Sturdy. Solid.

Brought as a gift

Come da specifiche. La tasca è piuttosto piccola ma è adatta a contenere garze, bende, coperte isotermiche e guanti. Non ci stanno all'interno forbici non pieghevoli, bende israeliane o CAT.Nel complesso è pratica e veloce, ha due tasche interne in rete che non fanno fuoriuscire il materiale medico una volta aperta la tasca principale, permettendo comunque di vederne il contenuto. MOLLE compatibile.

What I like:Small, essential, practical.Best on the market.What I don’t like:The position of the zipper inside, if they make on the short side it is easier to place in thinks and less work on the production side. When you open it, both inner pouches should have the zipper on the top.

Helikon non ha bisogno di presentazioni. Questa è una variante mini dell’individual med kit, può contenere pochi presidi tra cui cerotti, garzine, peha-haft (da 4cm) e disinfettante in bustine. Ottimo per la vita di tutti i giorni!

Klein, handlich sehr gut Verarbeitet, auf Grund der Grösse passt natürlich nur das notwendigste hinein wie z.B. Jod, Schmerzmittel, Verbandsmaterial, kleine Schere, Splitterpinzette, Rettungsdecke. Für mich persönlich ist dies als Rucksackergänzung sinnvoll und kommt zumindest bei Begleitern häufiger zum Einsatz (Better safe than sorry ).
