Car Audio Circuit Breaker Reset Fuse 100A for System Protection 12V/24V …

Honestly I should have thought harder about it and read the fine print before I ordered but it seems to be a common design of all of these types of breaker boxes... quarter inch posts!? give me a break that's ridiculous. I'm not putting 150 amps through a quarter inch contact, talk about a bottleneck choking your voltage away. Why would I run $7 a foot zero gauge wire into a rinky dinky quarter inch posted plastic box right before I put it in my $1,000 amp?

I finally installed this circuit breaker along with a power distribution block to go with some Led lights I already have on my truck and 2 set of new lights , it was my first time making the distribution block so it took me longer then normal (just wanted to make sure it was all correct) so I finished last night and yes it’s working so far great played with it a little last night and went checked everything again and went out on the trails and then checked it all after we were done and so so good

Good product. Easy to install with the supplied hardware. Seems to be good quality. I am running a 12v auxiliary fuse panel through this breaker on my Jeep Wrangler, and so far no issues with 60+ amps load. I will probably not be running the full 100 amp rated load, so cannot report if the breaker can handle 100 amps as advertised.

Install in the truck with a hand screwdriver using an existing hole in the truck. I kept wiggling the breaker so i only tighten till it didnt move anymore. Before i felt it stop moving the corner cracked! So now its fastened by one screw and just dangle cause im affraid the other corner will snap!

I have a 150 and a 100amp model of this Fuse from KCT. They have tripped and I reset them so I presume they are working as expected. It's nice because they can double as a switch as well if needs be. Well worth it. Will definitely buy them if has a need again!

Used in a 2x 12V parallel battery backup system to a 1000W inverter. Measured over a half volt drop between battery terminals and the inverter which caused an undervoltage alarm when powering a 350W load. Without the breaker the system had zero issue running the same load. I measured using different cables to rule out cabling. I used 6 gauge cable (will never come close to 1000W load so I don't need bigger) with a total circuit run of about four feet which is sufficient for the 28amps the circuit was subjected to. It now resides in a junk bin.

Works great has a firm click when engauged and the arm pops like its supposed to. No power drain after cutoff is active.
