Gentle but effective warming cream without the bite
From the description, I had been expecting this cream to be more of a Deep Heat equivalent- but it’s quite different, and I’m pleasantly surprised by it too.Rather than ‘deep’, this feels (and to a lesser extent looks) like a moisturising cream, thinner than Deep Heat and much less sticky. It rubs in readily and leaves surprisingly little residue, just a tiny bit of oiliness much like a moisturiser. But it turns out that “warm up” is to be taken literally. It really does make your skin feel a bit warmer- not in that slightly itchy or burny way that a more aggressive cream might, in fact not like any cream I’ve tried before. The effect feels like what you get if you lean your arm against a warm radiator for a few seconds- really just warmth, no sting, no stimulation, just a little bit of heat. I’m not quite sure how it works or what the active ingredient is that’s causing it, but it works rather well. This is the second Sport Ready cream I’ve tried and like the first, it’s not all that potent. The warming effect is definitely ‘warm’ rather than ‘hot’ and the effect is gentle- but effective. The “Dragon’s blood extract” so prominently mentioned on the packaging does feel like a bit of an over-sell, coupled with the bright red branding, and the cream itself doesn’t have even a hint of red about it unlike the raw material it’s mentioning.Despite that though it still feels like a really useful cream to have around, especially before exercise on a cold day, and I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

Absolutely no effect
Used most the bottle with little to no warming feeling in the muscle. Wouldn’t waste your money

Still in two minds about this.
I am dubious about the claimed benefits of warm-up gels / creams / ointments in general, so my reservations relating to this particular product are nothing new or unique.Whether such products actually stimulate deep, beneficial warmth within the muscles, or if it is just a superficial effect is something I am still to be fully persuaded about, but I am always willing to give new products a try.* This cream gel certainly smells fresher and more pleasant than the often pungent smell of many competitor products I have tried.* It is readily absorbed into the skin and does not leave any tangible stickiness or greasiness, which is a good thing. It also means that you do not have to worry about staining your clothing.* Unlike some more traditional liniments, this cream does not rapidly create a very warm, sometimes almost burning sensation after it has been applied. In fact, the initial feeling is more reminiscent of a cooling gel, but then you start to become aware a a gradual build of warmth after 5-10 minutes.I can't honestly say that my muscles felt more "exercise ready" as a result of using this cream gel and it certainly shouldn't be viewed as any kind of substitute or short-cut for a proper pre-exercise warm-up and stretch routine.I still remain to be convinced about any real benefits this may have, but if you are a devotee of using such products, then this has more going for it than some others I have tried.I hope you find these insights helpful.

Boost the effects of a warm up prior to working out...
Tensed, unrelaxed muscles can feel the strain. This is the point of course of taking time to warm up first prior to exercising. Really this Sport Ready Warm Up Cream-Gel effectively boosts the effects of a warm up to make your body feel even better physically prepared for a work out or general exercise. At time of writing this 100ml tube was priced at £11.99 - but this is reasonably priced in my view as a little goes a long way. It won't make skin feel like it's burning - there's just a gentle sensation of heat that feels rather pleasant. An easy to apply product, this would make a suitable gift for gym goers or for anyone who is active in a job from a brand that specialises in such products. And don't be concerned about the product staining clothing - it doesn't.

Did little for me
Any mild warming sensation I got from this cream was clearly only at the skin surface rather than penetrating, and was only very mild. I could get more heat from an actual physical warm up , whcih would actually do me some good. I'm struggling to see very much benefit.

Muscles warm up.
Heat cream gel booster for your workout. Not to strong and just right. No issues. It works as it should. Price is fair right. Worth looking.

Marginal improvement in warmup but don't neglect actual warmup exercises.
When it comes to workouts in cold weather, I'm not feeling at my best and should really do more warm-up exercises beforehand. The Sport Ready warm-up gel is an effective way to stimulate the muscles and activate faster blood flow prior to exercising. The gel has a very pleasant smooth feel to it and when applied it quickly goes into the skin. IT also smells very pleasant and dries without any greasy feel afterward. Within a few minutes, you can feel a slight warming effect on the skin and muscles beneath, but not a burning sensation. It feels more like you have just had a modest massage in the area applied.I was particularly interested in the ingredients used in this gel. Dragon's blood is a bright red resin that is obtained from different species of a number of plants, such as Croton, Dracaena, Daemonorops, etc. In the ingredients you will see Croton Letchleri resin powder, this is colloquially known as Dragon's blood extract. Judging by the colour of the gel, there is not much of this ingredient in the gel, but enough I trust to feel its benefits. The gel certainly does bring a warming effect, but be careful not to touch your eyes, mouth, etc after applying. I rubbed my eye by mistake and it does begin to burn a little afterward. Best to wash hands after application. At the moment, I think I will give this a moderate rating, as I believe there is no substitute for real muscle warmup exercises, however, there is a good benefit from applying this gel beforehand to assist with the process of conditioning muscles for a workout.
