Unlock Supercharged Nutrition with Sprouted Quinoa - and it tastes great!
I am currently making my second batch, it's easy easy easy to cook, no rinsing or picking because it's sprouted, it's already been rinsed. When I first opened it, it didn't really look any different from un-sprouted quinoa, it was perhaps a bit "lighter" meaning it didn't feel as heavy. Instead of water, I used chicken stock to cook it in. I am blown away by the flavor!Once it was cooked, I could tell then that it was sprouted, I could see the little tails, it honestly looked a bit odd, funny, but I was glad to see it because I knew that it was in fact sprouted. The reason I want sprouted quinoa is that it helps release some of the nutrients so your body can use it; it also helps remove some of the "anti-nutrients" that are in some grains._________________________________________________________________Here is what un-sprouted quinoa has:Quinoa contains several antinutrients that can affect the absorption of nutrients:Phytic Acid: Phytic acid binds to minerals such as iron, zinc, magnesium, and calcium, reducing their bioavailability and absorption in the digestive tract.Saponins: Saponins are bitter-tasting compounds that coat the outer layer of quinoa seeds. They can interfere with the absorption of nutrients and may cause gastrointestinal discomfort if not properly removed by rinsing.Oxalates: Oxalates can bind to calcium and form insoluble compounds, which can inhibit calcium absorption and potentially lead to the formation of kidney stones in susceptible individuals.Tannins: Tannins can interfere with protein absorption and digestion by binding to proteins and digestive enzymes.Protease Inhibitors: These inhibitors can reduce the activity of enzymes that break down proteins, thereby affecting protein digestion and absorption. While these antinutrients can have negative effects, proper preparation methods such as rinsing, soaking, and sprouting can significantly reduce their levels, making quinoa more nutritious and easier to digest.___________________________________________________________Here is some info on sprouted quinoa:Sprouting quinoa increases its nutritional value and digestibility in several ways:Enhanced Nutrient Absorption: Sprouting breaks down antinutrients like phytic acid, which can inhibit the absorption of minerals such as iron, zinc, calcium, and magnesium. This makes the minerals more bioavailable.Increased Vitamins: The sprouting process increases the levels of certain vitamins, particularly B vitamins and vitamin C, enhancing the overall nutrient profile of the quinoa.Improved Protein Quality: Sprouting can improve the amino acid profile and increase the overall protein quality, making it more beneficial for muscle repair and growth.Better Digestion: Sprouting activates enzymes that aid in digestion, making quinoa easier to digest and less likely to cause bloating or discomfort.Reduced Glycemic Index: Sprouting can lower the glycemic index of quinoa, making it a better option for blood sugar control.Enhanced Antioxidant Levels: The sprouting process boosts the levels of antioxidants, which help protect cells from damage and reduce inflammation.By sprouting quinoa, you can gain these additional health benefits, making it a more nutritious component of your diet.I will be buying more of this!

Enhances Absorption of Nutrients to make it a Superfood
Quinoa is known for its health benefits. However, many people don't have proper enzymes to break down its nutrients. The sprouting process helps people to be able to break down and absorb the nutrients. This product has high quality ingredients, is easy on the gut, and enhances nutrient bioavailability. As a health coach, I highly recommend this product to people.

Its great no to have to plan ahead to sprout my own Quinoa. I find I have to use just a little less water than recommended otherwise the quinoa is almost soggy.
