The pictures don’t do these justice These knives are beautiful to look at, but most importantly exceptional quality. The knives come in beautiful gift box. so nice presentation and very giftable. They are super sharp, so handle with extreme care. The hammered blades with the Damascus cutting edge is the real deal. I ordered a set that had fake “Damascus” etching and there is just no comparison. I love using these knives, you can cut super thin slices of the softest tomatoes with ease. Onions, carrots potatoes, meats, whatever, these beauties just glide through food effortlessly making prep a pleasure. The ergonomic handles are smooth and well balanced, they glow like fine furniture, and the rosettes on the end are the perfect finishing touch. The kitchen shears are very nice as well , very sharp and they come apart for easy cleaning, but never come apart accidentally during use. I also love the round knife block. The set looks elegant and uncluttered on the counter. These are fine tools that must be properly cared for, hand wash and dry, never immerse them in water, the wood handles would be damaged. But if you’re spending this much on knives you’re going to care for them properly. I know that knives can cost thousands but over 400.00 for 5 knives was a big splurge for me . I’m a home cook not a chef, but the 5 knives are what you need for most kitchen applications. I’m confident with proper care this set will be the last set I have to buy. Exquisite! I’m very happy with this purchase! Highly recommended!

I bought this as a gift for my fiance and he absolutely loves it! It's well-made, durable, sharp, and it's a great looking knife. Cut's through veggies like butter :) I use it sometimes too and I won't go back to a basic knife again.

I did not read that I was not supposed to slap the food with this knife. Here I was busy slapping my food and cutting the hard stuff and it went south from there. Overall a decent knife if you don’t mind it’s not a food slapper. I thought I could cut the hard stuff but that was my mistake as well. I sent my knife back to the company and they sent me 4 knives back which was a surprise. I use one for strictly slapping my food and I’m super happy.

Nothing to complain about here. Could be 20 bucks cheaper maybe but still a great knife.

I’ve always wanted a good set of knives and these definitely fit the bill. I already nicked my baby finger with 5”, just surprised myself how fast and effortless they slice. So do yourself a favor and buy a smaller TV you’re eventually just going to have to throw it away anyway and buy this set of knives, which will last you a lifetime. Oh I found this sharping stone on Amazon, I think we’re going to need then, Watch those fingers, lol.

Good knives made of premium materials. For similar price, you can only buy knives of sub 60 HRC from more known German or Japanese brands. There’s slightly QA problem but customer service of the seller is helpful.
