We have been using the filter about a month and are very happy with it. We had a sediment filter, but having higher iron content in our water, our softener wasn't filtering out the iron smell. It was recommended we purchase a carbon filter to eliminate the smell. I found this filter will remove sediment over 1 micron, so I thought it would be great to try. I was pretty skeptical it would remove the odor from our water, but it was worth a shot. Immediately the odor was eliminated. I'm a believer and hope it filter lasts us a good number of months before we have to replace it. Very happy with this purchase!

Our home is fed from a mountain spring and this is great for filtering the water. We have had it tested multiple times and it comes back great. Best tasting water ever.

NSF 42 is better than the 53. This bad boy gets it down to 1 micro. I have tested this with chlorine pillows and have confirmed that it removes all the chlorine. I have a 3 phase system, first a 5 micro poly spun filter then two of these carbon filters. You can’t always trust your local water authorities to get the water coming to your house 100% clean, but this will when installed at the POE of the house. FYI...I’m using this to filter county water not well water.

This ACB did what I hoped it would. I use it after a KDF85 to help polish off the water and it does not disappoint. I would definitely buy again!

So far good. Last one was a US Water 4.5 x 20 Carbon Block. This was cheaper and performs similarly (and didn't come with cracked end-cap). I would buy again. Water tastes good, showers haven't smelled like chlorine for months.

Nous avons eu beaucoup de difficulté avec l'eau provenant de notre puits. Nous avons tenté plusieurs filtres (5 microns) et la plupart fonctionnaient pour quelques jours, voir 2 semaines, et l'odeur revenait. Toutefois, c'est la première fois que nous avons un filtre qui fait une réelle différence et qui est durable. De plus, nous n'avons pas constaté de différence importante au niveau du changement de pression entre le 5 microns et le 1 micron. Je recommande fortement.

Ce filtre semble effectuer son travail correctement, après l'utilisation complet je vais pouvoir juger de sa qualité, pour l'instant je suis satisfait..

Does the job. Only wish instead of blocking in micron measurement, it evolves to nano particles.
