So far so good! I know most of you reading this will be just like I was when I was shopping for a new mattress, to sum it up into one word, nervous. This is a big purchase, and one that is difficult to undo should things not work out. I have issues with low back pain on firmer mattresses, but I also don't do too well on ultra plush mattresses either, so it is a fine line of what will work for me. I also deal with shoulder pain on both sides when side sleeping. I'm a physically fit guy, 6'0, 155 pounds, but I've been in a lot of tumbles in my three and half decades, and consequently I have some pain that typically only develops after several hours sleep on a mattress that is not ideal.I am relieve to report that so far, this mattress has performed beautifully. It came quickly and safely, was very easy to unpack, and very quickly took full form. As soon as I laid on it for the first time I knew this was going to be a game changer, instant comfort, softness and a plush that is just right, not too plush, but more importantly, definitely not too firm! I've had the mattress for about two months now and I have absolutely gotten better rest every single night in the past two months then I was getting on my old mattress.At this point I have to say this mattress is not only excellent quality, but an equally excellent price for what you're getting. I would have imagined having to spend twice or even three times this much for a mattress with this level of comfort, unless it unexpectedly begins to decay or lose its form, comfort or otherwise, though I do not expect that to happen.If I remember I will will post another review in six months to see where its at and hopefully help others to make an informed purchase, but at this point, I'm very pleased with my decision to purchase this mattress.

i was hesitant buying a mattress online because i wasn’t sure what firmness would be the best fit for me and my last memory foam wasn’t the best for my back pain. i wanted to get a hybrid so i had the best of both worlds and honestly this mattress is a dream. it’s only been a few days but overall im sleeping a lot better and im not sore in the mornings or tossing around as much throughout the night. im usually a side sleeper and i get uncomfortable after awhile sleeping on my back but now i’ve noticed im ok sleeping in any position. unpacking was pretty simple; it is fairly heavy when moving but once you place on the frame and cut the plastic, it pops out and inflates immediately. no weird smells or stains present. it says 24-72 hours to be at its full height but it honestly was ready to go in the hour. the 12inch is pretty thick so i don’t think a box spring is really necessary. overall i love this mattress and im very happy with the quality. from a person that is a chronic napper, it is definitely worth it.

The packaging and setup was easy and we followed the directions with no problem.Once the mattress was released and started to expand it reached the full 12 inches within a few hours BUT the edges still had quite a bit of firming up to do and this took a few days. I slept on it the second day and there was no smell whatsoever which was great given some of the reviews that I read.The edges were a little soft and I caught myself almost falling off of the bed a few times but as if five days into sleeping on it it has improved greatly. I am sleeping pretty good and even if I have to get up during the night I am able to fall back asleep fairly easily so that alone is a HUGE plus!Overall this is a great value and I will be getting a queen size for our guest room soon!

My old bed was so bad I was sleeping on the couch.I had gone to numerous mattress stores trying to find something reasonable. As with the present economy spending a lot on anything is not on my wish list. While at one store I laid on a bed and said this isn't bad but just a little soft for me. He explained it was a bed in the box. When I looked the reviews up on that one they were similar to what I felt when I was on it.So I continued to search. After reading the reviews I thought well its 1/4 of the price of the other ones I have seen and liked. Its incredible to me they can put this in a box. There is no way ever it will go back in one without a device to suck the air out and some work.According to the manufacture you have to let it decompress for the full effect of about 3-7 days. However, you can sleep on it before hand and doing so will not effect the decompressing.So night one I laid on it and it felt extremely springy and I was like "oh no this isn't going to be good". Plus it was very soft. It sank when you got on it. Second night wasn't to bad but not great. It didn't sink as low as the first night. However, I slept through the night. I also found it to be a bit hard more firm than med /firm, by the third night.I had a mattress topper from my old bed that is still in like new condition. I threw it on top and the next night it wasn't much better. Now I'm on the fourth night with it and I have to say its comfortable. I'm keeping my topper on it and if I take it off its to firm for me. Its firm more than medium. Plus it doesn't sink at all now. Nor do I feel the springs, nearly as much as the first night but I can still feel them.Side note: The center is softer to sleep on than the sides. So that is a little odd to me. Its not consistent around the mattress and this is night 6. I have a king size bed and have normally always slept one side or the other but right now its strictly the middle.Firm in todays standards is more like sleeping on a board. 20 years ago firm is more like a medium in todays time. Will the mattress last ten years? I don't know about that but for the moment it will work for me.Now it is two weeks in to sleeping on this and I don't wake up in the night nor do I toss and turn all night but I wake each morning with the middle of my back slightly sore. I'm not sure if this will be good for the long term but for the moment its working. Would I buy it again? yesWould I recommend it? probably so. Size and weight do matter in mattress shopping. Would I buy it for my son? No because he has a 6k bed and would know the difference.EDIT: It's now been several months since I bought this. It's completely decompressed, and I love it. Legit its so comfortable I actually want to go to bed. I have left my topper on it and its perfect for me. If you like a firmer mattress, you don't need the topper, but my topper makes it kind of like a pillow top. I sleep like a baby. I also live in FL on the beach and even in the worse of the storms we have gotten this season I slept through every one of them. My neighbors look at me like I'm on crack when I told them I didn't wake. i think they are now concerned for me. Just saying. I'd definitely buy this again.
