It turns out that I had fanned the blades out to too great an angle when setting it up. A little minor adjustment, and now it is spinning happily away in my garden!! Great product and excellent customer service!I really wanted to love the Moonrise Wind Spinner by UpBlend Outdoors...I really did! I had high hopes when I first removed it from the box. It's pretty and seemed sturdy and well made. I was a bit disappointed with the finish, which is more matte than shiny (at least on the "moon" part, the "tail" is nice and shiny), but I could have lived with that. The problem I have is that it just doesn't spin in the wind! I followed the instructions and fanned out the blades, but nope, it just does not catch the wind. Too bad.

Have moved it to six different locations in our yard. At best it rocks back and forth, but has yet to spin in spite of the windy weather we've been having (meanwhile, my other yard mobiles are merrily twirling away). But still gave it 3 stars because it's so pretty. Have moved it in front of my office window where I can enjoy its - stationary- reflective colors.

1. Instructions were vague so Upblend referred me to YouTube video that helped.2. Normal wind won't turn this spinner.3. I bought a motor to drive the spinner and adjusted the blade angle down to 30 to 40 degrees. Now I have the dynamic flash pattern I was wanting.4. I have bought chimes from Upblend and I am delighted with quality and tones. Company is responsive.

This Wind Spinner is absolutely gorgeous. It came with everything needed to hang and sets up easily. Very beautiful wind spinner. Items were packed well, and all required hardware was included.There are plenty of YouTube videos around that show how easy it is to form the spinners into shape.

The media could not be loaded.  I really wanted to love this spinner - it’s pretty, and I love the colors, but I can’t get it to spin! The winds right now are 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph and the spinner just sways back and forth. I’ve tried it with the blades fanned out in different positions and with the 2nd swivel hook on and off the tail, but to no avail. It’s hanging next to another spinner I bought that got more than a few negative reviews for not spinning, and that one is spinning so fast it looks like it’s ready to take flight when the gusts blow! I love these kinds of spinners and really wanted this one to work. I’ve added video of the two spinners side by side and you can see this one just sways back and forth.

The spinner arrived in perfect shape and, once out of the packaging, was easy to assemble. Next, a trip to the walkway to find the perfect place. The spinner is a great addition and was placed to catch the light as well as some wind movement. It has been moving and casting color since! Thank you and I hope I will be able to find others items from you as the quality is very nice!
