I have used wheels for more than 25 years. The advances made in this wheel are comparable with those of any other piece of electronics over the same time period of time. The only thing this wheel doesn’t do is sync with my iPhone. In many respects, this wheel out performs the accuracy of a tape. Even over rough ground where wheels I had in the past would completely fail.I especially like the functions available on the keypad, but the design and instrumentation goes well beyond.The collapsible arm with carry case is a big plus. The old wheels with retractable arms always failed. Secondly, I am 6’4” tall. Many wheels I have owned have required me to walk around like victor Hugo’s hunchback. This stick is plenty tall but the design allows for a smaller person to feel quality comfortable by running the wheel at a slight angle. The handle is comfortable another big benefit I see is that when you stop the wheel stops - even when it loses contact with the ground. The add radius button is nice, but this is by no means the first wheel I have had with a function like that. The keypad has performed well- no stuck keys no multiple taps to get it to work and is glove friendly.Calculated industries did well in product design and implementation. I definitely recommend this product. While it is significantly more expensive than some competitors, the advances in both form and function make up for it.

Easy to use and read. A little on the heavy side because it is made to last. I have used wheels for the last twenty years and this is the nicest one I have had. I think it will hold up over time.

I bought this to replace a different brand measuring wheel which had a sticky reset and a slipping extension handle. This product has neither of those problems. Folds in half so no slipping handle and restores with a secure click. The battery-powered display and buttons are at the handle and seems to work very well. More calculation features than I need, so I have to be careful not to inadvertently press some buttons. But easy to reset.

Recently I had a field to layout with 2000 points spaced 4' on center. In the past I have always been happy with Calculated Industry calculators so I decided to try this tool. I was not disappointed. I was skeptical about the digital display being readable in bright sunlight but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is very readable. I was also happy to find that if I ran a little past my desired dimension that I could back the tool up and stop on the dimension that I needed. The tool does not feel flimsy.

Works great and is very good on measurements

This measuring wheel is super nice and easy to use. If you're in the market for one I highly recommend this.

Fist let me say I have had some of there other models and when someone in my company broke another brand wheel i would give them mine and upgrade myself to a new wheel. This time I went all out and love it. I use it all day and do an average of 4 miles a day with it and never had a bad reading

1. The battery that came with it was dead. We swapped it out for a new one and still doesn’t turn on.2. We called tech support and they refused to talk to us until we emailed them a receipt to get a call back.3. There are no installation instructions for the battery. It’s not difficult to figure out but would have helped us troubleshoot.4. Customer support wanted to send us a shipping label, but wouldn’t send a replacement immediately. You’re better off using Amazon return.
