Purchased these envelopes to put money in for the grandkids birthdays. Wanted envelopes that were fancier than the standard white ones.The quality and thickness did not disappoint.

Purchased this item for my mom's 80th . Got rave reviews about it. Thick sturdy and the laser design is very unique.

I love that these envelopes are beautiful, elegant , strong and sturdy. Our Women at the conference were delighted and we had so many complements.

These are very pretty. But, too expensive. They do not have pull/sticker closures - but, it's a tab you slip the tip of envelope into. (At least there's no licking). They are thicker card stock, but not the thickest - I would say 'medium thickness. Very pretty, but again, too pricey in my opinion for what they are. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. These envelopes are gorgeous. And they shipped pretty quick. It didn't take a month like Amazon said it would. They are beautifully laser cut and very sturdy. I want to buy a second pack because I'd love to use these for weddings, birthdays and Christmas forever. The laser cut flap is very sturdy and stiff. The paper is thick. I think you can see a little bit of the money peeking out from the fold through the laser cut flap. But just barely. There is a little cut in the envelope to tuck the laser flap into which is very nice. So they stay closed and do not need sealed. They are made of paper and not plastic but are very heavy paper. They'd take a wax seal well as well which I will be trying. The gold shimmer is very tasteful and subtle and not tacky at all. Very excellent product. I highly recommend it.

The description said they were gold, they are but just barely, more of a matt color gold.I would have liked them better if they were big enough, top to bottom, to use for a written letter that you could address and mail comfortably.
