I originally bought them so I could put other small peripherals beneath them, which I used to have before adding external speakers to my desk, but I was gladly surprised when I noticed the improvement in sound quality coming from the speakers. Turns out they get the tweeter at ear level, making the high notes clearer. Sweet!

Stands are well-made and fit my M-Audio BX5a speakers in width and depth perfectly. They raise them about 5 inches off the table and align them perfectly with my monitor. I would buy these stands again without hesitation.

These are great stands for PC speakers, ideally for smaller ones, though I'm sure they can support some of the bigger desktop speakers. They have about 4-5 inches of clearance underneath them, so you store things underneath them and run cables through them, which is great for organization. Also, having the speakers point up and at you completely changes how you experience the sound coming from them. They are sturdy, minimal in design, and there is no assembly other than the feet and bumpers. Highly recommended.
