Herrschners Fashion Yarn Assortment, 14 oz. Package Yarn Pack

I do a lot of on line shopping and this "Yarn Assortment" is the worst order I have ever gotten. See that beautiful box of yarn in the picture? I didn't get any thing like that. I got huge chunk of 1 inch wide upholstery trim in a mud color (how does one knit or crochet with that?), 3 or 4 skeins of black yarn with a white strand running through it, 2 skeins of 1970's "country blue, one skein bright purple ribbon yarn (the only thing I will use), and the remainder of the box was various skeins of brown and grey. It was packaged as a kit for a poncho. The photo of the completed project was in a different color scheme. If I had wanted to make a poncho I would have ordered a kit I liked. I use yarn to make prayer shawls for critically ill patient. I saw the beautiful colors and textures in the pictures and thought it would be fun to make a special free form style shawl. What I got would make the most depressing and sad piece, that I would not give it to anyone. I feel like I was taken! I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 for kit Herrschners couldn't sell any other way. Thanks Herrschners...good way to make money.
