Doesn't fit
Does not fit the ender 3 neo. The thermister has no place to be screwed into the block. Its designed only for the 3mm thermister.

Had been struggling to find parts that work perfectly. It's a little pricey for the stock system, but time is money - it works.

Better than the default block
This is considerably heavier than the basic alloy block that came with my printer and is attached to most of the hot ends I've ordered over the last few years. That alone makes it feel more substantial, better. It's not just cheap alloy.I'm not a metallurgist so I'm not even going to try and explore what this is actually made of or how. Suffice to say that it distributes heat well, it cools well, it behaves well and it holds all the parts well. I added an upgraded copper and titanium throat to this and a new thermistor and heater block, with a new metal vent and new fans. Honestly, sick to death of all the problems I've had this year from buying complete hot ends that just leak everywhere. Finally decided to heck with it and built my own out of parts.So glad I did. No, really, the "upgraded" parts are more efficient and definitely better than the stock parts you get with a pre-assembled unit. This has been running on a 24 hour burn in test to catch any leaks or issues as quickly as possible before I add this to the production queue. It has been working beautifully, I am convinced part of that is because of this heavier heater block.Whatever the case, I have had no blocks, blobs, spatters or other problems. I've bought some more parts in case I need replacements later on, but for the moment this is working so much better than any one of the assembled "company" hot ends that I have bought for the past year.Will not hesitate to buy again if I need one. I'm so pleased with this I can't stop grinning. Brilliant piece of kit.
