Worked like a charm!
Third time a charm. I tried two of the generic remotes which didn't work. I should have purchased the OEM from the beginning! So glad I didn't have to trash my favorite ceiling fan!

After finding the correct remote, this one works great
Our old remote stopped working due to the light-on-button wearing out. I took my time to find the correct replacement--the color of the buttons must match exactly to work with your particular ceiling fan. I only had to match the dip switches inside the battery compartment (in my case, set them all to 0 to match the prior remote's setting), add batteries, and now it works like new. I'd rather be able to turn the light on with a wall switch, but that is not meant to be with the ceiling fan we purchased so many years ago, so the remote is vital to being able to use the ceiling fan/light at all.

This was the exact replacement of the old remote.
This remote control replaced the original remote that had not been working for three years. I didn’t realize how easily I could have replaced the old one until my son suggested just ordering a new one from Amazon. Thanks Amazon for making life easier.

Easy peasy
I inherited my ceiling fan and the remote when we moved in 18 years ago. The remote became more and more unresponsive so I was very concerned that I will not be able to find a replacement. Not the case! This remote worked perfectly with my ceiling fan and I am a much cooler happy person!

make triple sure you're getting the right kind
My remote faded over time, so buttons that were red, orange etc aren't always that color anymore.These remotes are hard to find, sadly, I bought this but it wasn't 100% compatible. It works for light functions and things so it's usable. I guess if doing this again, I'd buy a whole new replacement remotekit, because the older ones (mine is over 10 years old) lack features the new ones have.The remote is great and the shipping was fast - no issues there, just verify compatibility
