I put this together in my living room by myself in about 20 minutes. (NOTE: The steel base is painful when you step on it. I will be moving it outdoors soon, but I do like it in my living room.)It is very sturdy and at the bottom it has holes in the bottom feet that you can use to anchor the stand for safety. although it would take a lot to make this tip over.The hook is a strong simple carabiner so if you want the swivel function you will have to purchase a different connector.Excellent quality for the price. This will probably last for a very long time.

This stand is very sturdy, easy to put together, and works well for indoor use. I bought it cause I live in an apartment and couldn’t hang my hammock chair from the ceiling with the bolts and such. This is an amazing compromise!!

Fairly easy to put together, BUT CAME WITHOUT HARDWARE!!! I had to buy all eight bolts & nuts myself...another $14!!!But its a nice stand.

First out of the box, it’s extremely easy to set up, (NOTE: I ordered a stand for it and not hanging from a tree or porch) So that could prove to be more or less difficult or comfort. The stand I ordered with it is a steel C stand and works just fine and easy to set up too. I weight 120lbs and slim at 5’9 height, so i can basically curl up in the thing if I wanted too, but I got this for my Dad that’s 6ft, 190lbs. It sits comfortably but it does seem to wrap around you in a odd way, but not a bad way if that makes sense. This could be due to the stand, but it hangs freely by the hook provided as it would on a tree but it has a tendency to sit forward and not a comfortable reclined back, and the type pillows that come with it are decent but they get in the way honestly or they need to be a tad bigger, but keep in mind it’s a hammock swing chair not a lazy boy recliner lol. I love sitting in it when. I fly my drone, but at my size I can maneuver a little more and get comfortable than my dad, so I give it a 4 just because of the slight awkward forward sitting rather than a tilt back and then the pillows are just a tad to small for a seat. It’s sturdy, comfortable and definitely durable for outdoor and weather resistant with the material it’s made of. It’s light weight so easy to move around and hang somewhere or even inside. Just needs a foot stool, ottoman or tilt back a bit.

I picked this up for a small bedroom but I feel that the base is just too big and wide, kicked it multi times with my foot, this my be better for outdoors maybe your yard or deck, It is heavy and sturdy and will hold its recommended weight.

This is very sturdy and works well without being anchored down. Mine had a couple of scratches where the paint has come off, so I suspect it will rust in those places. Although it was easy to put together, and the manufacturer provides the necessary tools, (thank you!) I had a hard time with the last 2 bolts on the upright. They did not line up well, but I was able to finally get it together after about half an hour and after cleaning out the holes so the bolts would just catch. I am happy with my purchase, good value for money and does not take up too much space. You do have to sit sideways to swing, or the sky chair will collide with the upright support.
