The pillow case works great, don’t notice any smell as others have mentioned…Yes the pillow needs to air out a little but a continuing smell I do not agree with. The pillow case is nice, cool, comfortable and quiet.

The pillowcase is very soft and the cool side is cool to the touch. As soon as you use it, it becomes hot and doesn't cool down again. I thought flipping it over and using the other side for awhile would let it cool back down, but it didn't.Update - COOP reached out and sent me a replacement. I've used it for about a week and the replacement gets a little warm but not hot like the original one I received. The new one takes longer to get warm. When it gets warm I can flip it over and within an hour the cool side gets cool again. It helps me stay cooler while I'm sleeping.

I was a little skeptical at first, but when I got in bed and flipped my pillow it is literally the coolest pillow I have ever laid on. I usually wake up with some sweat and what not, but I haven’t had that happen since I bought this. Pretty “cool” pillowcase

I love this pillow. It is very cool to the touch. The pillow covering is very slick so I ordered the extra pillow case for it at a cost of over $30.00. The extra pillow covering is supposed to make the pillow cooler and stay cooler while sleeping. I have found this is not quite true. Mh head still gets hot and I have to flip the pillow during the night to get the cool side. All in all , I love the pillow and it fits what I have been looking for. I probably could have done with out the extra pillow slip and saved my $30 plus dollars but after spending $139.00 for the pillow, I feel the extra pillow slip that zips over it will help protect my investment. I give it 4.5 stars

The Coop Home Goods Cool+ pillow cover is a hot sleeper's dream come true. I have the original Eden pillow and I liked it. The cool gel foam fill helped keep me cool but I still flipped my pillow a couple times at night, so when I saw the Cool+ pillow cover, I had to try it, replacing the original bamboo cover with the Cool+, and I love it!

This pillowcase is a magical fix for the very comfortable Coop Eden pillow’s one flaw: Heat buildup. The Eden advertises as being cool due to the infusion of cooling gel, but in reality that seems like a bit of a gimmick, or at least it’s not enough to offset the warming effect of memory foam. But replacing Eden’s stock pillowcase with this one provides a substantial improvement, making even the warmest of nights bearable.And while it won’t keep the spot you’re lying on cool forever, you need only move slightly to find another cool spot. I seem to only need to do this a few times before I just fall asleep.It would be ideal if the Eden came bundled with this pillowcase, but at least I have the stock one as a backup for when the cooling pillowcase is in the wash.
