Works great on the dog. Not so well on the teenagers...
We have a dog that's trained the UPS and FedEx delivery guys to go away when she barks. They even wave through the front windows and occasionally leave Amazon boxes with treats inside. For them, at least, it's altogether a mutually satisfactory relationship. As the people in the house, we're not so happy with the situation. Maggie, despite being only 20 lbs, can be really loud and snarly and, even worse, has been teaching my daughter's puppy that the UPS guys are evil incarnate. Not cool. That's where the Pet Corrector comes in. Maggie really, really, really doesn't like the noise. When we say, "no," followed by a brief blast, she stops barking immediately. Over the last couple weeks, her verbal assaults on the UPS drivers have markedly decreased. She'll never like the guys, but the relationship has moved down from a North/South Korea war footing to a basic tolerance. On the other hand, when I tried this on the kid, it didn't work worth beans. All I can say is that it confirmed my suspicion that teenagers are completely untrainable and are somewhere below the dog on the intelligence scale. YMMV.

Terrified my dog
I got this because a trainer told us it might help stop barking. It definitely did, however my smaller dog has been a wreck. It's ridiculous. I have used it twice, only because I refused to believe it was this product that made him act this way the first time, but after the second time it's definitely it. He's a 20lb shiba inu, and I used it to try and get my heeler to stop barking. My shiba stays in terrified mode for literally 24+ hours after one spray, nowhere near him. Trembling constantly, crying, won't eat, hiding. We couldn't find him and searched our house and found him sitting way back in our closet, which he has never done. This goes on for over an entire day and it's exhausting. I feel terrible. I am getting rid of the cans tomorrow. I have no idea how it's scared him so much, it's literally just air. But he's a wreck nonetheless so, 30$ in the trash.

GREAT product, but these cans are way smaller than expected
Pet Corrector is the best thing since sliced bread. It's the only thing I've found that makes my pack of 7 dogs hush their insane barking when someone rings the doorbell or when I'm trying to let them outside. I've recommended it to many friends and even raved about it on my personal Facebook page. This product is simply canned air with a special red nozzle that creates a hissing sound that gets their attention. It must be unpleasant to their ears because it quiets them down immediately. We humans cannot hear the unpleasantness that our fur babies hear. All we hear is air coming from a can.Once your dogs get accustomed to the sound that comes from the bright red Pet Corrector can, the mere act of holding the can where they can see it will cause them to settle down and be quiet. I keep an empty can on hand in case I run out and need to scare them quiet with it until I have a chance to get more. This stuff is amazeballs! For people who dont have dogs of your own, but have rude neighbors with noisy, relentlessly barking dogs, this will work for them too. And your neighbors will be left wondering what caused their obnoxious dogs to finally shut up. Yes, I know, dogs are supposed to bark. It's their thang. But there is a time and place for it, and with limits. I care about my neighbors, especially the ones who work 2nd or 3rd shifts and need to sleep during the day, or those who work from home. I don't mind a little barking, especially if they're being protective, but only to a certain extent. Pet Corrector helps me keep my dogs in check so we can show our neighbors thoughtful consideration and respect.Pet Corrector is a miracle worker. I've told friends that it must be manufactured in heaven by angels. It's THAT awesome. My only complaint has nothing to do with the actual product, but instead with the size of the four cans I ordered in this set. I thought I was getting a great deal, but I'm questioning that now. The cans in this set are less than one ounce each (0.95 ounces, to be exact). The can, not including the nozzle, is only 4 1/2" tall. With the nozzle included, it is approximately 5 1/4" tall. I loved getting four cans because I keep one in my bedroom one by the front door, one by the back door, and have one to spare. I received the cans less than a week ago and I am very frugal with how much I spray each time, and two of the cans are already empty. I will be more cautious next time to make sure I'm getting the bigger cans. This sized can would be better as a sample can to give to customers, or for someone to buy (one) to try and see if it works for their dogs. Once people try it, I'm quite confident they will continue to purchase it, especially if they have multiple dogs like I do, or if they don't want to allow their dogs to irritate the crap out of their neighbors. The manufacturers should consider marketing this product to people who have rude neighbors with obnoxious, relentlessly barking dogs. It may end up helping to keep the peace between neighbors.

My go-to for training our dogs and cats....
I have used these cans for years to discourage cats from jumping on counters, dogs from bum-rushing folks at the front door, dogs chasing cats, cats peeing where they shouldn't, etc. I also take one to the dog park to discourage neighborhood dogs without manners from jumping, harassing, and generally misbehaving around myself and my dogs. Every dog and cat I've used these with HATES the sound! I use them sparingly, only bringing them out after verbal correction doesn't work, behavior backslides, or for an egregious trespass (dogs nose in the litter box or cat stealing food off the table, etc.). I recently used it to shoo wild bunnies out of our front yard and I didn't see them again for a couple days. I consider these highly effective and humane so they get 5 stars from me!

the big bottle is better
this product is excellent for training your dog, I havent needed to use it to much as just holding up the can and calling her name will now get her attention.the reason I gave this specific product a 4 is that the bigger bottle which I purchased first dropped and the nozzle broke and I figured Ill buy a bunch of smaller ones so I have one in case it happens again as I am clumsy.but when the button on top is depressed on these smaller cans, the outside gets extremely cold.so caution when utilizing this product that whatever is inside if gets on your skin and holding the can itself can cause extreme coldness. we use liquid oxygen as a nurse and getting a drop on my hands felt similar. so Id advise not having children use this.(keep away from children) and because it is compressed air of sorts would be likely flammable. and do not use close to any human or animal where the mist can get on them as it could cause a frosts bite like feeling.
