In my Zumba classes, most ladies wear these and I wanted to get one. But finding a purple one that has silver was not easy. After getting this and getting to compare it to the others. WOW What a difference!! This one is made SO MUCH better than those 5, 6 and 7 dollar ones. My coins are overlapping, the ones in class are next to each other. This one is also way heavier and much better constructed. People lose coins occasionally, stitching comes loose, not with this one. It has taken a pretty good beating with the last 3 classes and has held up very well. I am so glad I opted to spend just a few more dollars. Cheap isn't always the way to go, especially in this case!!! If I decide to get another one or recommend one, it will defiantly be this one.

I LOVE this silver & black hip scarf!! I am very happy with this purchase! Quality item at a good price, not at all cheaply made. All of the coins are securely sewn on, and it is exactly as the photo advertises. It's a little heavy, due to so many rows of coins, on a soft, velour-like black material. The top two rows of sequins are mainly silver, with iridescence, so when it hits the light it sparkles a beautiful rainbow color. I am 5'5" tall, and wear around a size 10 in pants. I tie the scarf around the top of my hips (which measure 36"), and it goes almost all the way around. The layers of coins are long enough to cover my butt. When I tie the ends on one side, there's only about a 7.5" open space at its widest point, which doesn't cover anything. That being said, I've paid more for other coin hip scarves that don't cover as much as this one does. I would highly recommend this hip scarf!! If i didn't already have one in gold, I'd definitely buy one just like this one. I'm looking forward to belly dancing in this! Fast shipping was an added bonus as well!

I ordered this belly dance scarf to wear with a gypsy/fortune teller costume at Halloween. It is gorgeous! Nice, heavy weight to the coins (but not too much). Plenty long enough to wrap around my waist and I love the noise it makes when I move around! This scarf made me feel sexy and I love it! I had purchased an entire costume "set" that included a scarf similar to this but it was flimsy and barely had any coins on it and I wanted more "flair" which is why I ordered this one. Arrived quickly with my Prime account, was exactly what I wanted, and I am very happy with my purchase! Now I wish I had more reasons to wear this! lol

Great scarf, good sound and it seems like terrific quality. Not one coin or bead has fallen off yet, and I've used it a lot. I also like the length of it, it's not too short. My hips are 40" and I've got a good length of tail left after tying the ends.I'm probably going to buy more in other colors.

The skirt is beautiful and well-made. Looks just as pictured. Arrived early and I have worn it to class only once. I am new to belly dance, so don't anything to compare it to. It makes good sound and is pretty. I am a size 10 in pants and it does not fit me like it does the model. I tied it on the side , as when tied in front the coins only cover my butt and a bit of the side of my hips. Also, not as long on my large backside as on the model. Still very pretty.

I purchased this hip scarf for a belly dance class I just enrolled in. This skirt is super cute and seems to be very good quality. I read a lot of reviews before deciding to purchase this one versus all the others offered on Amazon. I am 5'7" and weigh 150lbs. My waist is about 30 inches and this skirt fits great. It could fit someone much larger than myself as well as someone much smaller. The length is as expected- it covers my bum. It's not super short- but it's not long either. Overall I'm satisfied with this product, it jingles as expected and looks great!

I’ve had this hip scarf for 2 years now and it has held up beautifully. It is heavy, the stitching is strong, the coins are overlapping and they jingle great. The purple is rich deep eggplant. The material almost reminds me of thin velvet. I’m 35” at the widest part of my hips and this wraps completely around to where the ties start. I’m now buying another color.

I have been trying to get this one for ages, am really pleased with it.
