SHAVIV90071 Mango II Set F with Mango II Handle

The adjustable depth handle has a fatal flaw. There is a retractable collar that releases a ball bearing that otherwise engages in a series of detents so that you can extend the shank holding the countersink cutter. The problem is that the torque required to cut steel is too much for this system and the ball bearing will roll out of the detent. At that point, the countersink stops rotating and the handle just spins. The picture shown here is of the shaft after multiple failures. When this happens, it permanently damages the detents, so it then fails much easier with each subsequent use.This system would probably be fine if the handle collar were executed in tool steel, but it's just cheap injection molded plastic, so it can't withstand the stress of rotation in things like steel and aluminum. For those only working in plastic, it may be fine, but this epically fails in metal. I was hoping to switch to Noga to find a better engineered system, but clearly one is just a knock-off of the other, so I am expecting the same poor performance there. If anyone knows of a truly good quality, well engineered countersink deburring tool, please let me know!

Got this for a work project and it worked perfect. Love the way it fits in my hand and cuts with very little effort. Made my job alot easer.
