For the price (which has actually doubled since I bought it) this is a great figure, has some nice weight to it and is definitely a future collectible.

Product is great unfortunately this review has scored low because of usual damaged condition of packaging. These are collectibles and was ordered as a gift but in usual used condition not new which has become the norm for Amazon.

I think the Baron Harkonnen figurine looks excellent on my night table. The only things bothering me about it were assembling the stick as it was very difficult to insert it as it does not fit right away. You need a hammer to hammer it in. One other thing is the base as it is very cheaply made and can crack if you are not careful with it. Well my only gripes about it as the figurine itself is well constructed.

I've read that many people struggled to mount the figure onto the stand because of the large ball socket. I can confirm that this can all be done easily by hand - no hammer required. Use one hand to hold the figure down, and use the other hand to twist and force the pole into the figure. Make sure you wrap that hand with a cloth or towel so it will provide a cushion which will enable you to apply as much force as possible. The pole should pop into place after about 3 seconds.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I'm super excited about the upcoming movie!!

The only figure I had my eye on from McFarlane’s Dune line. Happy to have my long wait for a good price pay off at 60% of MSRP. The ball joint inserted into the figure provides the necessary but minimal posability— the fit is tight but a couple light hammer taps got the job done. Terrific figure and bonus points for resembling Skarsgaard. Can’t wait for pt II!

Takes some force to get the ball joint securely in but once it’s it works great. The figure itself is awesome, with the exception of the neckline which is pretty apparent; However, typical. The base is thin and not the best but once displayed it doesn’t matter. If you like to build scenery or anything like that this would be an incredible piece to mount into a custom base. Not a perfect figure but a must have for the price and you’d be hard not to enjoy

Excellent figure, looks just like Stellan Skarsgård even tough we barely saw him in the film. I feel like a traitor to House Atreides for liking it so much. Highly recommend this figure to anyone’s collection.
