Great stuff - got the blackout version and it blocks the light 100% wherever you put it. Love it. I got a new monitor a few months back, and have a high half-moon shaped window directly behind me in my front door, which faces west, so the sun was always glaring in on my computer screen every day for the few hours before sunset (except on super cloudy or rainy days). I have extremely light sensitive eyes, and even though my monitor has a glare-free coating, the glare has been brutal and headache inducing. (Plus, the anti-glare coating on modern monitors is not all that fabulous honestly - I miss the truly matte monitors of old that didn't cost multiple thousands of dollars like they do now.)Since this stuff was a SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper solution than getting a crazy expensive new monitor, I ran with it and am so glad I did. It is pure black almost all the time. I do have daylight LED light bulbs for nighttime, and that's when the rainbows show up beautifully on the inside. I don't know how well the rainbow/holo coating would work with regular incandescent or fluorescent lighting but it definitely shows up with your normal daylight LED light bulbs on in the evening. Mine are 4500 temperature range, maybe 5000? They aren't the soft 2700 or 3000 warmer temp ones - those ones drive me batty because my eyes see everything as "dingy" with them - probably due to my eye issues. Anyway so yeah these are fabulous but the holo/rainbow effect requires good indoor lighting to see it. Otherwise, it's just solid black but it absolutely does it's job of blocking out 100% of the light!! So simple. So effective.

It’s super pretty and gives sone extra privacy from neighbors. I had to cut my film up into sections to properly cover my window but the cuts/lines aren’t too noticeable and the pattern continues seamlessly. it was also my first time installing a window film like this, but the installation was straightforward and a few weeks later it still sticks :)

REMOVE THE 0FILM before applying the crystal layer!!!Super easy to apply.I’ve purchased other brands in the past with the pebble-like pattern and although I’ve been looking at this brand and pattern for a while, I just now decided to pull the trigger.Well, this one is even easier to apply and I love the pattern. And it actually is happier and more iridescent than the pebble one.I purchased 3 rolls and used them on 6 windows.I am actually buying 1 more roll because the last window looks a bit like patchwork. No one can tell, by the way, that I covered one window with leftovers because of the pattern. But I can, and for the price, why not?!?Ps- I use these for privacy. I love my blinds open during the day, but the creep across the street like them open a little too much. He takes his phone calls facing my house and on the edge of the driveway.This morning when he went to do his “Schpiel”, I looked right at his face and applied the film. It was priceless.By the way, I clean my windows with pure vinegar prior to applying and then I apply the already cut to size piece whilst a little wet. In my experience, it clings better than water. I’ve been buying these since 2022 and have moved 4 times since then (yikes. Just realised this 😅🙈)Highly recommend it!!!!!

It’s privacy film. But not really. Install was very easy with water and a squeegee. I put these on my original 1950s single pane glass windows. I bought this because it was more attractive than a dark UV reflective window cover, which is what I really wanted. Something to reflect some of the sun’s heat. This window gets a ton of sun and gets very warm, and has faded every single curtain I’ve put in front of it. The pattern and the rainbow effect is attractive, but it’s far less private than I took it for. If you’re right up on the window, you can see straight through it very easily. Which makes sense, in order to cast rainbows, it has to let sunlight through. So from far away, it is slightly more private. If it’s dark inside your house, you can’t see through it during the day. At night, though it’s pretty much see-through if it’s dark outside and light inside. I’m not really trusting the privacy of this, but it is cute and was an easy install.

These are easy to cut, easy to install, and totally change the room! My cabinets this morning were covered in rainbows ♥️ the only thing is they don't provide as much privacy as a frosted window. They let a lot of light into the room, too, so I feel like it opened our kitchen!

It is a very pretty window covering, and easy to install. It looks so pretty on the window, and reflects the incoming light like a prism with pretty colors. Does a good job for privacy.

I love this, it was super easy to apply. I did it by myself and on the sliding glass door in my master bedroom. All I needed was a spray bottle with a little bit of soapy water, it came with the squeegee and then I just needed a blade to cut it with.Absolutely love when the light hits it and my room is full of rainbows. Gives me complete privacy, but still lets in all the light.

This works! I get the brutal Vegas afternoon sun on my patio doors, and I got this to get a little relief without darkening the whole room. I’m pleasantly surprised at just how effective it is, both for sun protection and privacy. And, I still get plenty of light in the room. Cutting to size is simple, and the vinyl is really easy to apply (just follow the simple instructions).
