Why is this white one $66.00 when the other two are $19.00?
Can this be mounted vertically? Like inside a crate? Have a kitty with a hurt leg that needs to bw crated dor a while and want to keep her occupied.
Will the Instinct Raw Boost Mixers fit in this or be too big for it?
Do you think a full-grown pet rat could easily move the pieces? This looks like a fun way for my lazy boys to "work for their food"!

Worth it!

Cats love it. They actually use it. It keeps them going for awhile too to make sure they’ve gotten all of the treats. I think it’s a fun entertaining thing to watch, and it keeps them occupied and using their brain power.

Excellent for slowing down fast eaters or kitties with big appetites who need smaller calorie counts

When you have to present on a business call, and your cat doesn't comprehend that she needs to leave you alone and not paw at you, meowing, for fifteen minutes straight because she's going to absolutely, positively die of starvation if she doesn't immediately get food, this is a great solution to have ready...Looks and functions exactly as described. Our little girl is a 15 lb, 21" long cat who's currently taking prednisolone, which makes her (or anyone, humans included) feel hungry all the time. She usually is fine with 3 timed meals plus a snack, but with the prednisolone, she's vocally and physically asking for food ever few hours. This toy has been a godsend. We have her on a novel protein diet with high protein (30%) kibble that keeps her fuller longer, and if you put 2-3 kibble in each green leaf cup, and 2-3 in each red lady bug cup, you'll be able to serve up a puzzle that will occupy them for up to 15 minutes, and make them eat slowly enough they will feel satisfied for a few hours at least. We also have been feeding her her dinner completely in the puzzle some days when she's especially voracious, and there's enough room easily in the cups to hold a full ounce of kibble, probably you could fit 2 oz. if needed. (8 oz. = 1 cup of kibble, and we feed her 4 oz. per day, divided into 3 meals + 1 oz. we use as 'treats' / snacks throughout the day, which is ~200 calories with her Blue Buffalo and Natural Instinct Venison and Alligator novel protein kibble).Cats use their sense of smell more than eyesight that close up, I guess, so we did notice after while she has trouble telling if there's still food in the ladybug/red cups, because the scent of food lingers in them and it's not easy for her to see inside, but she doesn't seem to get frustrated, and when she hears us take the puzzle out of the closet she knows it's snack time! The only negative is that it will slide around on a wood floor or kitchen floor, so you may need to put it on a rug/carpet if it keeps moving around while your cat is eating from it.One note: small kibble can become wedged inside the frame of the puzzle. I've not tried separating the components to clean it out - I usually just start shaking it over the trashcan in different directions, and the kibble comes out. Larger kibble won't have this issue - it's mainly the Natural Instinct one that gets stuck as it's smaller and flatter than Purina HY Rx and Blue Buffalo. But not a dealbreaker by any means!Really cute, and works great. Very durable. Highly recommended.

Great enrichment

Overall, the product seems to be durable and made really well, and I like the colors. It’s also easy to set up with the treats and everything that moves does so very easily. so far my cat seems to have shown only a mild interest, But I use it for a small amount of time a few days a week to get him used to it, and the instructions provided were helpful for knowing what steps to take to get my cat comfortable with it.He seems to have gotten the hang of the swivel pieces – my only complaint is that there is a small gap between the cup and the surface of the device which causes flatter treats to get stuck. This means he has trouble getting the treat out, and essentially pushes his entire nose against the edge to get it, and I imagine that it’s not super comfortable.Still, it’s a good toy that forces him to think a little and it mimics foraging for food. And I think it’s a good value for the money as it seems it will last a lo if while.

Pleasantly surprised my two cats with their first puzzle toy!

I worried that my cats, who I have never purchased pet puzzles of any kind for, would not "get" this or be interested. But I am pleased to say, that the opposite occurred and they loved it and started figuring it out right away! I filled the rainy day puzzle with their favorite treats and left some of the puzzle flaps partway open so they could get used to the toy. My senior cat, Leo, went right over and figured it all out and got his Greenies treats. The next time I filled it, I made it a little more difficult as per the instructions and he figured it out too. My other cat Jinx was a little less interested at first, but she sat and watched while Leo got the treats and then she eventually was able to get one of her own. I'm glad I bought this because it seems like they really enjoy it and lately I have been trying to find ways to stimulate them more as indoor cats. They spend a lot of time following me and my husband around and meowing, so some mental and physical engagement seems to do the trick! This brand also seems to have a really good reputation for this type of pet toy, so I'd recommend it even if it means spending a few extra bucks- it's worth it for your beloved pets, and the quality of the materials is very good.

Keeps my crazy orange cat busy!

It keeps my crazy orange cat busy! It is very noisy, but so is he if he’s bored, so choose your annoying haha! Thus far it seems like it’s very durable and safe as well!

Cute Idea but Cats rejected

I loved the idea of getting the cats to hunt for treats and they were very curious at first. They liked that it involved treats. We tried giving treats with open spots but after a few ays, when we tried covering the treats, the cats walked away. Maybe it depends on the cats.

Perfect for Mental Stimulation

My cats are rarely interested in a toy, but this one is a success. We only just received it today and they’re already fighting over it! I was worried it may be too hard for them, instead it’s quite easy. Just use a treat you know they’re willing to work for (I recommend Friskies since the treats are big and can’t get stuck in the parts).
