Cougar Motor Ultimate H4 LED Bulb, 30000LM 120W High-Focus 9003 Extremely Bright 6500K Cool White Fog Light - Adjustable Beam, Halogen Replacement

I previously purchased another brand of LED, which was good but the beam pattern was not ideal--I was periodically "flashed" by other drivers thinking I had my high beams on. One of those failed after a it less than a year, and although the company was very good about replacing it, that replacement failed a fairly short time later. So, I decided to try a different brand and chose this brand because of its good reviews.The beam pattern is very good (see photo). I very rarely, if ever, get "flashed" by oncoming vehicles. It illuminates the road in front of me, as well as the right side and enough to the left. They are very bright and give the typical white LED light, making everything much more visible and clear than stock halogen lights. The photo here shows their beam pattern on a garage about 10' away. As you can see it is a nice, tight beam pattern. This is in an older (2000) Toyota Sienna, so not the newer projector style housings--it has the old style rectangular reflector housings.These have an improved mounting system. The bulb itself can be removed from the metal mounting ring (it is a simple bayonet). This makes mounting that ring on its own very simple, as the spring wire that holds the bulb in place is not hindered by the larger LED bulb. Once it is clipped in place you can install the original rubber boot (cutting a bit larger opening if needed, but doesn't need to much) and just insert and twist the bulb itself in place. Once installed it can be rotated to align the beam pattern. For some reason this bulb, as well as previous LED headlights I have tried, seem to have the stop right near the ideal location for alignment. This alignment does seem to be perfect, but it would be nice if the stop was in the middle of the "wrong" area (so the orientation is *way* off) so I could try adjusting just a bit more to see the exact sweet spot. That said, as you can see from the picture the alignment seems right on, so that is a minor quibble.The instructions included are not bad, but it does not show which is the top of the bulb--that would be helpful, as it can be installed either way in the bayonet.As far as longevity we will have to wait and see. They seem very well made, so I hope their longevity matches the apparent build quality.I do not notice any obvious significant flickering. There is a slight fan noise, but not much--and, who cares? The engine is far louder. If, for some reason you use the headlights when the engine is off, they are definitely not loud enough to be a problem. You can hear them with the hood closed if you really listen and are close, but barely. They are not even loud enough to be bothersome with the hood open.I knocked one star off from 5 just because of the very minor points I mentioned and the fact that the previous model did fail when it did, but really overall I would say it is excellent. I generally only rate something as 5 star if it is essentially perfect, so this is not a negative rating, as so far this is very very close.Assuming these last, I would recommend them. I will try to remember to update this review in a year or so. I will never go back to standard (halogen or other incandescent) bulbs again, as LED lamps like these are such a huge improvement in safety.UPDATE one year later (Feb 2022): These headlights are still performing perfectly. They are very bright, as I mentioned I rarely, if ever, get "flashed" for having my brights on. I would definitely recommend them. If/when they fail I will try to update this review again, but at least they passed the "year" mark!

Lights were quick to install on a 1998 Toyota Camery. The only issue is dang metal clips that hold the light in place. They get caught in the metal fins but easy enough to work around. The rubber boot needs the center cut out to be used since the base has the big heat sink. Definitely worth it though.

This one are brighter than the original bulb, now I can see more the road and drive safety. I don't give 5 stars because they can improve the pattern of the light shot.

Love these lights. Very bright. A lot easier to see in the dark now!

The lights made a differents

Love, Love, LOVE! these new bulbs. The difference is huge between these led lights and the halogens that were in it before. I can see so much better now and we’re only about $26. They fit perfect in my truck (9003 bulb type). Only time will tell on how long these bulbs last.

Iluminan de maravilla y cumplen perfectamente con la descripción de plug & play. De verdad que esta marca mo decepciona.Se instalan sin necesidad de algún tipo de conexión o modificación. No tienen cables o partes que puedan estorbar para su instalación cómo otros tipos de focos.El color amarillo/oro de los dos focos le da un toque diferente al resto y la luz es blanca fría.

El producto es de gran calidad, viene perfectamente ensamblado, cumple con lo descrito en la caja y lo mejor es que no necesitas ninguna herramienta para la instalación, todo es plug and play. Estoy satisfecho con mi compra y el vendedor cumplió con su parte. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Nice and bright

Great product ! So bright that the police here in Australia as usual want to defect them for being too bright. Apparently I need to buy a self levelling kit. Have no idea where to find one that suits. Typical Australian police 👮‍♀️
