I just got my wand today. I got it as a gift for a really big Harry Potter Fan. They absolutely love the wand . Wand has a beautiful stain andis light weight .The costumer service at Orchard Works is awesome!! There was a hickup in my shipping ( not the fault of the company but that of my local post office) and Orchard works helped me track down my package. I had such an amazing experience with this company that , not only will I buy from them again, but I'll tell all my friends looking for well crafted wands to buy from them! I actually modified the wand into a paintbrush for a christmas gift and the quality of the wand was perfect and elegant for my exact design!

Also bought as a gift. (1 of 3)This wand is especially smooth, with an almost paintbrush feel to it.The 12" wands are noticeably thinner than the 16", but also allow for more wrist movement and are less cumbersome.
