Needed something to keep my cats out while also allowing sufficient airflow, these did the trick for 2 of my tanks that did not already have lids. They are spaced out enough so that the light will still shine through and sturdy enough to keep out my fat cats looking for a snack (JK they just want to boop them).

I used these initially to make a fish divider in my 55 gal. tank. It did work but then I tore it down and now im using it for a basking area for my turtles. It works really well. I used zip tyes to attach it together.

Used them for the top of my aquarium instead of a glass lid to stop condensation from dropping on my floating plants.. Worked great for what I needed! They were a little difficult to get to snap together but I love the end result!

It was easy to cut and i used small tie wraps to hold it together.

The hole spacing is not normal size to fit any plug size, so if you expect to use this as standard egg crate, you can't ! It should not be labeled as eggcrate but only as tank divider and breeding screen ! We all know EGGCRATE is expected to fit a normal plug size and follow a standard hole dimensions .

Why did I not get my full refund? Your product is faulty and has no way to stay in place, therefore I had to return it.

It fits my Fluval Evo 13.5 perfectly. The pieces snap in using the zig-zagged connectors, I suggest you take a hammer, cover the pieces with cloths and lightly hammer it in. Don't use your hands. You connect two pieces sideways, then connect them vertically, then fits the evo perfectly.The light shines perfectly fine on the corals, and my blenny has not jumped out yet. It does what it's supposed to do!The crate is a bit thick for my taste, but I understand it is there to give it additional strength. Also if you want to undo the connections, make sure you wear a glove, I used my hands to try to push it apart, the product scratched about 2cm worth of skin from my thumb, and dug a bit into the skin too, and I kept bleeding lightly for a few hours.Overall great $20 solution to an aquarium lid.

I used this for the top of a fish tank. Works perfectly, and my filter sits in a funny spot, so I had to cute this a bit, it did not take away from the strength and was very easy to do.

Durable and light. Worth the price if eggcreat won't cut it.

They are very different to snap together, I felt like I was going to break them trying. Also, the holes are not big enough to fit standard coral frag plugs.
