Loud alarm with large variety of sounds to choose from (tunes and standard alarm bell sounds), variable brightness but stays off unless woken by noise, so no bright light to keep you awake at night, two alarm time options so you can set a different one for weekdays and weekends and not have to keep changing it. Lasts ages before needing to be recharged. Simple but brilliant.I almost didn't buy this because of various reviews saying it wasn't loud enough and that there were no 'normal ringing' alarm sounds. Both of these things are untrue. I can only assume those reviewers didn't find the full functionality of the clock before giving up...Loudness - There is an alarm volume control, which at its top setting is the loudest (digital) clock I've ever found.Alarm 'bell' sounds - There is an odd bug where if you scroll through the alarm sounds without setting the alarm, the last few sounds don't appear on the list, which includes the bell sounds. So the reviewers must have only tested the sounds this way. If, however, you're actually setting the alarm the full list works and there are bell sounds included.

Being a hearing aid wearer i needed an alarm that would be loud enough to hear when not wearing them ,i.e. at night. This excellent clock is superb , as you can set 2 seperate alarms ,adjust the volume to suit individual needs ,and the light intensity has 4 levels which when on its lowest setting does not glare.Has exceeded my expectations . It comes with a mains adaptor which consumes only milliamps of power but keeps the inbuilt battery fully charged as well.

This is a great alarm.The brightness can be adjusted from very bright to almost completely dark.The size is good and so it is easy to carry.It allows me to turn off my phone and so my battery in my phone should last a lot longer between charges but also hold a long charge for several months more than would otherwise be the case if always on.The battery in the alarm lasts such a long time. It is weeks. However, I turn it off from when I get up to when I get back to bed as it does not need to be on.The first issue is that the lowest volume setting for the alarm is much too loud and does not have an option to increase the alarm volume over 30 seconds to allow a gentle waking up.The second issue is that the battery warning light comes on when there is really almost no battery life left. So it could come on during the night and turn off leaving you without an alarm in the morning. It would be better if the low battery light came on with 24 hours if life left in the battery. So I charge it regularly just to avoid this issue. Normally every few weeks.However, I would still buy this again.

Nice and small, works either on battery power or plugged in via usb cable. The usb cable you get with it is quite long as well so it was easy enough to get it to sit where i want it on my desk. The screen brightness features are great, the alarm can be either loud or quiet dependant on what you want, and the time can either be displayed in 12 or 24 hour format. Great little modern clock for the price

It's a good, simple digital alarm clock. I charged it once when I first got it (about a month ago), and haven't had any problems since. I suppose I'll need to charge it again at some point. I wanted it to be quite bright at night, since I have eye issues. Nudging it usually turns the face on, and I can see the time and temperature easily. Drawbacks... if you don't want it to shine so bright in your face, you can toggle a touch button on the top to dim it, but most likely by the time you've done that, you'll have been traumatized by the full brightness. Also, I wish it would also have the date. It literally just has time and temperature.

Don’t know if it’s a fault but red battery light started flashing so put clock on charge last night and this morning still flashing have contacted seller as it’s past return date

Wanted a clock that I could see clearly at night Read several reviews of similar items and although they were cheaper dismissed them due to reviews of poor functionality and brightness being reduced when no activity detected. The display is large and can be seenly easily anywhere in the room and there are several brightness settings on this clock. On full setting it is extremely bright but I did not find it distracting and the brightness does not dim at all I have however now chosen a lower setting. It appears to keep good time and operates silently. I have not used the alarm settings so cannot comment. I am extremely pleased with this product as an affordable clock that can be easily and clearly seen at all times of the day and night and would thoroughly recommend it on that basis.

Nice compact alarm with 4 different dimmer settings, two alarms and 10 alarm tones. Also gives you the room temperature. Very nice looking with a clean display and loud alarm.My only issues that with the two alarms which have two separate buttons you have to cycle through both alarms and all the ringtones to set the alarm off of one button which is unnecessarily tedious.Also the I would suggest the thermostat isn’t particularly accurate either but I would suggest the pros outweigh the cons.
