I used these runners down the middle of tables for my son's farm-themed party. I placed farm animals and tractors on them and they were perfect.Like other reviewers have said, yes they do leave a dirt-like residue on the tables. I had read this in previous reviews so I made sure to unroll them outside and give them a good shake. It didn't get rid of all of it but it definitely cut down on the mess. A quick swipe down the table with a car vac and problem solved. They are very thick and better quality than I was expecting. These really made his party tables unique.Look forward to using these for other events as well!

I ordered this to be a table runner, and it looked great once it was in place! What I wasn't expecting was the black crumbly mess it created, when I unrolled it, and was getting it, in place, on the table. The backing, of this table runner, still held together, even though it was crumbling. When the party was over, I decided to store it in a plastic bag so it doesn't continue making a mess. But, like I said, it looked great for the golf themed party table.

As a table designer and entertaining blogger, this faux grass runner has quickly become one of my favorite finds! I used it to style my 72-inch round dining table for a Kentucky Derby party, complete with equestrian accents, beautifully arranged food, and—of course—a grand bouquet of red roses.It was slightly stiff and had a mild odor when first unrolled, but laying it out a few days in advance solved both issues. The color is vibrant, it's easy to wipe clean, and it’s ready for reuse. Best of all, it rolls up neatly for simple storage. A fun, functional piece I’ll definitely be using again!

This runner looks amazing on a table! Love it! HOWEVER - this is not a runner, it's a strip of indoor/outdoor artificial grass. It has strings and frays on the edges and it sheds black, crumbly grit from the coating on the back of it. It looked like someone dumped black sand all over my table when I took it off. I will still use it for special events because it looks so good but it is a pain to clean up after using. Just know before you buy that you will have clean up!

It is pretty but a TOTAL MESS. The backing was disintegrating and got everywhere. The photo is after I vacuumed it and took it outside to shake it out, it was way worse out of the box. I actually cut some linen material and hot glued it to the back to keep the mess at bay. Should have returned them but needed it for a party.I hate leaving a bad review but maybe the feedback will be helpful.

I bought these to be used as table runners for a graduation party. They were perfect! Great quality. The only downside was that they were a tiny bit messy… but I’ve ordered other similar products and they were a lot messier so to me they were great for the price.
