Pretty great coverage for a 4.2 Tent.
The media could not be loaded. The VIPARSPECTRA P1000 LED Grow Light has completely exceeded my expectations! From setup to performance, this light is a game-changer for anyone serious about growing.First, the power and performance are spot on—true to the chart with no exaggerations. The light intensity is impressive, and my plants responded with vigorous growth and, most importantly, incredibly dense nugs. It's easily one of the best lights in its price range, hands down!Setup was a breeze, and the daisy-chaining feature is a fantastic bonus. It seamlessly connects to my Vivosun controller and even daisy-chains with my Vivosun light. The compatibility across brands makes this a versatile addition to any grow tent.I also appreciate the dimmable feature, which allows for precise control throughout the growth stages. Whether you’re starting seeds, vegging, or blooming, this light gets the job done with perfection. The driver is awesome, it does not get hot. I can touch it no problem. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. This is not just a grow light—it’s an investment in higher yields and better quality. Highly recommend it!Tips: when hanging lights put them on the ground in the tent first then extend the pulleys to the light on the ground. After hooking both sides up slowly ascend the light. Much easier this way.If you really wanted to you could fit the P4000 in a 4x2 and have 5-6 inches on each side. But this light works.

Bang for buck
I recently had the opportunity to try out the ViparSpectra P1000 Grow Light, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. This compact yet powerful grow light is an excellent choice for indoor gardeners looking to provide optimal lighting conditions for their plants. The first thing that caught my attention about the ViparSpectra P1000 is its impressive light output. With a true power draw of 100 watts and a full spectrum of light, it provides ample illumination for various stages of plant growth, from seedling to flowering. The light coverage is sufficient for a small to medium-sized grow space, making it ideal for home growers.I found the build quality of the ViparSpectra P1000 to be robust and durable. The solid construction and efficient heat dissipation system ensure that the light operates at an optimal temperature, reducing the risk of heat damage to plants. The built-in cooling fans effectively keep the light cool, even during extended use.One of the standout features of this grow light is its energy efficiency. The ViparSpectra P1000 utilizes high-quality LEDs that consume significantly less energy compared to traditional HPS or HID lights. This not only helps reduce electricity costs but also minimizes the environmental impact associated with energy consumption.I was impressed by the light spectrum provided by the ViparSpectra P1000. It covers the entire PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) range, including blue, red, and white light, which are essential for different aspects of plant growth. This comprehensive spectrum promotes healthy growth, robust foliage, and abundant flowering, resulting in high-quality yields. The ViparSpectra P1000 also offers excellent control options. It comes with dimmable knobs that allow you to adjust the light intensity according to the specific needs of your plants. This flexibility is particularly beneficial during different growth stages, as you can provide the optimal amount of light for each phase.Overall, I highly recommend the ViparSpectra P1000 Grow Light to indoor gardeners seeking a reliable and efficient lighting solution. Its impressive light output, energy efficiency, sturdy build quality, and customizable features make it a standout option in its price range. With the ViparSpectra P1000, you can create an ideal growing environment for your plants and enjoy successful harvests.

Works better than Spider farmer and Mars by far!
I purchased a couple of the spider farmer lights with the Samsung LEDs after I had the mars hydro light for about a year or so. all of them the smaller 100W variants. Reading around and doing research, looking at product reviews endlessly- exhaustively trying to make the best choice. The mars light after 2 grows ( short grows with autos) 1/4th of the panel failed. Support was responsive but in the end wanted me to pay for a new light with a 20 percent off discount, this is well within their warranty period. The build quality seemed sub-par after getting the spider farmer lights. In the end, the mars light ran really hot ( I had no idea) and heated up a 6'x6' space to the point of needing excessive ventilation. The Spider farmer lights have a good quality feel and build quality and ran MUCH cooler, to the point It was about 90% less ventilation required. I went with them due to the name brand LED ( samsung) lights as everything pointed to them being much better.Overall after receiving THIS light, It kind of put it all into perspective for me. This 240W light outperforms (3) of the 100W lights from Spider farmer BY FAR. It also runs much cooler and is insanely bright, the plants love it!Overall, I am not going to pretend I know anything about the differences in the brands of LEDS and all of that. I do know that these " no name" LEDS on this unit are far superior in terms of cost and performance in comparison to the Samsung bulbs from my perspective. I get much deeper penetration growth, less stretching and much denser "fruit" in the exact same conditions. It's kind of shocking actually. The build quality of this unit is fantastic, the way it hangs and the lower heat it puts off, all of it down to the mean well driver they use. It does run hotter than the Spider Farmer lights, but the plants seem about "50%" more happy with this light. Maybe that is the difference, the efficacy of the light corresponds to the power wasted as heat, I am not sure. But for 240 watts at $130, compared to 300 watts of Spider farmer at $220, the spider farmer loses for sure. The only real thing I cannot attest to is the warranty/support of this brand or spider farmer, as well as the useful life of the products. time will tell, but overall I am glad I am not falling for the " hype" of "name brand" LED units. I see the results, I feel the results, I weigh the results on a scale. These units work fantastic, even better than the higher priced " name brands". Sorry mars and Spider Farmer but I think at this point all you have going for you is your name and all of the hype around the " Samsung" LED's. If I can pay half the price for twice the light and "fruit", I don't see why you couldn't either.
