I ordered this batting because it said lightweight and soft. I wanted a quilt that could be used summer and winter. I loved it when it arrived but I don’t quilt my quilts, so I had no way of knowing if it was easy to work with. (I take my quilts to a long-armer to be quilted.)My long-armer loved this batting! She said it was very easy to work with, asked where I got it and took note of the brand etc. I think Angels Crafts and Sewing just earned an additional new customer. I know I’m happy.

A friend is making a quilt for me so, all by myself, I picked out the batting for it. I picked Angel Crafts Natural Cotton Batting for the price and features I liked. I don't like heavy blankets so lightweight is a must, and it is just right. Natural is a must, all good there too. The reviews helped too, thank you very much. I was so happy that she was very pleased with my choice, I decided to do a quick review. I asked her if I got the right batting, and she said she really likes it and will purchase some for herself too. She said to tell everyone that it has a really nice loft. Cannot wait to use my new quilt this winter!

I really like this cotton batting. it is lightweight and easy to use and a good price. I mainly use mine for microwavable bowl cozies, small quilts, and other items that I craft. When shopping for cotton batting I always look to see if it’s 100% cotton without scrim. So often that’s not mentioned in the item description. In this batting it specifically says it’s 100% cotton batting and it’s OK to use in the microwave. That made it very easy for me to make my decision to purchase.

I really enjoyed working with this product. It is very lightweight, yet warm. I created a queen-size summer coverlet for the bed in my guest room and know it will work well even into fall and perhaps, winter. I did find it stretches relatively easily, especially when you are using it in large pieces. I solved this by doing a bit more pinning and basting than I might have, but no problem. I would definitely buy this product again.

My order came one day after I placed the order! This has got to be the softest, smoothest 100% cotton batting I have ever bought. From the other reviewers, I knew to expect that it would be thin. This will be fine for baby quilts, wall hangings, and table runners. I might make more soup bowl cozies using the Angel Craft batting. So glad this product is manufactured in Maine!

If you quilt this is the batting to use. Soft and light, it does feel like a cloud. I was looking at all types of batting. Some were very expensive. I thought I would take a chance on this one, and was amazed at the quality for the price. I've used other types of batting and this one is the best I've ever used. I'm sure I will re-order this again.thanks

So I bought this and washed it before sewing my quilt together to make sure it was good quality. When I pulled it out of the wash it had several holes in it and there were cotton balls all in the dryer. I realize it says already pre washed but i couldn't see the outcome being much different if I washed it after sewing it into my quilt. The holes would still be there and it would ball up I just wouldn't be able to see it. Overall, very disappointed.

I wasn’t wanting batting this thin. It is about as thick as a t shirt. I knew it was lightweight, but it was even thinner than what I expected. That being said, I used spray basting and quilted a wall hanging for the first time. Two layers of batting and it was still easy to work with.
